UPDATE: Chalk it up to the heat, but it occurred to me; I ran one of the most important contests in the SITD schedule during one of the worst traffic weeks of the year.
So I’m extending voting through 11:59PM, Monday, July 9, with results to be released starting Tuesday, July 10 and the finals on July 11.

They hate me. Can’t say I blame them. I’m not a fan of their orthodoxy.
I have good friends who hate, hate, hate Michele Bachmann. I’ve queried them to be specific, but they can’t give me anything other than the standard portrait painted in the mainstream media. BTW: They’re avid ‘CCO and MPR radio listeners. My friends are picture post card Minnesotans – they live conservatively, talk conservatively, contribute to conservative causes – and then vote Democrat.
If they were the only people in my orbit who do this, it wouldn’t be so bad.
Yes, I have the same thing, Big. Funny though; when they ask me why I hate Mark Dayton, Mark Bitchie, Lori Swanson and any other libturd, I can cite a litany of reasons and back them up with facts. It’s real fun to see them squirm and then listen to them try to change the subject.
Boss: Ditch the facts in your arguments. The liberal religion is immune to empirical data. Belief in liberalism is a narcotic. And just like any junkie, they deny their problems until there is a very loud collision with reality.
