The wide range of topics being addressed, and the depth of the effect of the orders, is impressive. Somebody thought long and hard about these issues, planning this new administration, to be ready to hit the ground running on Day One.
I’m the biggest Trump fan around but even I don’t believe he has the patience to sit still long enough to do this intellectual heavy lifting. Who analyzed the problems, who pondered the solutions, who focus-grouped the possibilities, who ran it past the lawyers for defensibility, who typed up the Executive Orders so they were read in the binders for signing at the Inauguration Ceremony, and did it all in secret?
Who’s the mastermind behind all this? I want to shake her hand.

Mac is spot on. I remember the GOP was campaigning on doing away with Obamacare during the 2016 cycle. Trump was frustrated when they didn’t come to him with a plan to do so, within the first year. I’m sure that stuck.
But, it’s really fun watching DemoCommie heads exploding every day. Trump is moving so fast that they don’t have any time to focus on any one thing.

We know leftists will sue to overturn Trump’s orders. They’ll carefully shop around for liberal-leaning judges to bring the case in weird jurisdictions (Hawaii) but expect us to believe that a single judge can issue a nation-wide order overturning anything and everything.
Who will they hire as lawyers? Send the IRS to audit the lawyers. That’s perfectly legal, Obama did it, and even joked about it.
How will they pay their lawyers? Send Treasury to seize the law firm bank accounts as proceeds of crime, and let them bring a separate civil action to get the money back, same as any other civil forfeiture case.
Who will regulate those lawyers? File ethical complaints seeking to get them disbarred. They did it to Trump’s lawyers. Sauce for the goose . . .
Where do those judges live? Send busloads of protesters to the sidewalks outside their homes with bullhorns. Liberals did it first. And maybe think about having a politician on the floor of the house, recite Senator Schumer’s words: “”I want to tell you, judge, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
That’s not a threat – liberals assured us it was not – merely a prediction. Say, has anybody looked into the judge’s personal spending versus income? Undeclared gifts? What does his wife do – all her income accounted for? His children? Siblings? Is this another Merchan situation, where the judge’s kid is raking in donations off the judge’s rulings? That would certainly cause the appearance of impropriety – maybe even grounds for impeachment – so obviously a thorough investigation is essential. Bring along the media when you search the house.
These are the new rules, Liberals established them, we’re playing by them now.
Did I mention the law firm’s bank? Be a shame if the bank quietly received word that continuing to do business with that law firm posed a reputational risk to the bank. Be a shame if the bank had to ‘de-bank’ the law firm to avoid having bank examiners crawl up their . . .
And who deposited the money into that bank account, to pay for the leftists’ lawsuit? For all we know, it was Russia, Ruassia, Russia! Best investigate the payment stream, then investigate the people who made the payment to ensure they aren’t spies or foreign agents attempting to overthrow the legitimate government of the United States. That would be insurrection. You can get jailed without trial for years, for that.
Not how we do things? Not stopping to their level? Not who we are? It wasn’t, but things changed and they changed them. This is the New Normal.

The Congress appropriates money. Bureaucrats disburse the money to clean organizations, which make sub-grants to clean-ish organizations, which make sub-sub-grants to shady organizations, which . . . well, see for yourself.
