I’ve seen the video on the Active Self Protection channel. Back story was that she was off duty cop in Brazil. Lots of inane comments on Twitter, but I’m being redundant.

I think living in Brazil means never having to think, “Is this really happening?” when a malefactor suddenly breaks into your space. You already know it happens all the time, and her response showed no hesitation.
If it were me, I’d have likely kept firing as long as he was moving – or at least given him a second shot when he rolled over, given his size. I think I’d also put a little more space between us before putting my bag down and going for the phone, too. I’d also probably have wet myself.

It’s a bit scary just how little time she has to react… goes to show how one learns to react like that in the moment well ahead of time
