“People…”

…who referred to Trump, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Dubya, 41 and Ronald Reagan “Hitler”…

…and who called Sarah Palin a “c*nt” who faked her own kid’s birth, and called her daughter a “slut”…

… and who thought alleged comedian Kathy Griffin waving around a “Trump head“ was, you know, humor…

…and who giggled like schoolgirls who’ve just had their first joint when Rush Limbaugh, Antonin Scalia and even Tony Snow died…

…are shocked, shocked at people saying “Let’s Go Brandon”:

In this case, failed radical congressional candidate Regina Marston:

Hey, at least there’s such a thing as “too far”.

Thing is, in a world run by people like Ronald Reagan or even John F Kennedy, this would be no big thing:

Is BIden too stupid or brittle?

Or does Big Left realize its market thrives on grievance, no matter how stupid or contrived?

Why choose?

  1. In general I don’t approve of people in visible and powerful positions using their pulpits to message clients and fans about their political beliefs. I’d be lying if I said the pilot’s impertinence didn’t brighten my day however. Rather like the lad who pointed out the reality of the Emperor’s wardrobe.

  2. Geez. I wonder what her position would have been if she had attended the Vikings game last night. Walking to and from the stadium, there were at least three black entrepreneurs peddling “Let’s Go Brandon” or “Biden Sucks” tee shirts.

  3. It’s policing the Overton window. Libs do this all the time, their minions are constantly messaging one another to define the bounds of permitted conversation.
Their is no similar phenomenon on the right, because conservatism is not a cult.

  4. The thing is, Biden could deflate both the Southwest airlines thing and the whole “Let’s Go Brandon” thing with a statement defending the pilot and asking people to cool it and that laughs along at the origin of the phrase and robs it of any power. He won’t. But he could.

You may remember that during the Obama administration, a rodeo clown got in trouble for wearing an Obama mask during his act. The guy wasn’t a racist — it was part of his act, he always wore a mask of the current prez.
Guy lost his job and received so many threats he had to go into hiding.
Obama could have ended the persecution with a few off hand words.
He chose not to. This was a way to send a message to his supporters (nearly everyone in entertainment and journalism) that they needed to consider any mockery of Obama as racist in intent.

  5. I don’t agree with you, MP. The Nice Police of the right are always on the prowl. There was a whole bunch of hands-on-hips, frown-y faced tut-tutting at the release last week of Michele Fiore’s video announcement that she’s running for governor of Nevada (do a YouTube search for something like “fiore vegas governor”). The woman said nothing wrong, illegal, dangerous, or threatening and yet commenters like Michael Walsh and sites like NotTheBee criticized her ad as “bad” (to use a generic negative term).

The Nice Police are, in my opinion, behind the RINO coalition on the right. The nice Republicans are the meat-and-potatoes of the NeverTrumper movement. They are, in fact, “constantly messaging one another to define the bounds of permitted conversation”.

  6. Berg suggests President Brandon has the mental facility to understand this mockery; he doesn’t. His string pullers are upset because their POTUS puppet has been turned into a Howdy Doody puppet.

Also, lets all take a moment to think happy thoughts for Glenn Youngkin. Terry McAuliff is looking more like Smeegle every day, but we must remember that the creatures infesting Henrico (aka Virginia’s rectum) think he should get his Precious back. Youngkin is more than just a politician this week; he is quite literally America’s Great White Hope.

  7. Surprised big tech hasn’t banned it yet.

Maybe they know that would show it was getting to them.

  8. Moderately off topic, but as predicted, the lamestream mediots are defending the McAuliffe stunt as “asking important questions”.

  9. I don’t care what any particular pundit says about any particular candidate.
There are no thought police on the right, there are only whiners.
I can say that I think that the January 6 rioters were heroes or traitors, no one is going to cancel me.
OTH, the resident troll, although anonymous, is too frightened to say what everyone knows, that a men and women are biological categories, not social constructs.

  10. FYI, I was 100% on-the-nosey about Biden and cop26. All the other nations bragged about their actually enacted green policies, Biden told them about the 900 billion in green funding in his unpassed spending bill.
    Lol.

  11. Apparently some cnnlol “contributor” is saying that “Let’s Go Brandon” is the new maga “sieg heil”.

I wonder if they understand how badly that hurts their credibility with normal folks. (none of whom they ever converse with, of course)

  12. Mitch, in your all-star hit parade of examples of Lefties acting badly you forgot to mention little Bobby DiNiro saying “F Trump” at the nationally televised Tony Awards. Leftists are as unaware of their hypocrisy as they are of their boorishness.
