   Thanks to the quick thinking and courage of an employee lives were saved, but the story most likely evolved since this post was written.

   An update:

   SUPERIOR, Neb. – An innocent employee and a recently fired grain elevator worker in the city of Superior are dead tonight, and another is in serious condition after the former employee began shooting inside the business Thursday afternoon.

   I hope he only shot one round. It’s pheasant season in Nebraska, don’t want to be using more ammo than you need to.

   I’ve bought parts for truck accessories from a shop where the workers post copies of their carry permits to warn prospective thugs that if they attempt a robbery, they may well find themselves horribly outgunned. My condolences to the innocents who were hurt or killed, my thanks to the man who ended the problem by returning fire, and maybe this is the wave of the future.
