  1. I still want to know why Governor Wally decided that the media was an “essential service”. I posed that question to both my state rep, Steve Elkins and state senator Melisa Franzen. I don’t expect to receive a response from bootlicker Elkins, but Franzen usually responds. I’m anxious to hear their explanations.

  2. It seems that every arm of the media is dumbed down. I listened to an interview with newly acquired Vikings Wide Receiver Tajae Sharpe via a conference call. These sportswriters are dumber than boxes of rocks. I give credit to Sharpe for maintaining a professional demeanor, while answering inane and redundant questions.

  3. The media love to claim they speak Truth to Power. I wish they’d ask better questions of those in Power.

For example, Minnesota only has 235 ICU hospital beds, one for each 20,000 people. The media endlessly repeats The Power saying we must ‘flatten the curve’ so we don’t overwhelm our hospitals. Instead of placing the entire state under house arrest to prevent everyone from getting sick, why not add more ICU beds to treat those who actually do get sick?

Another example: why not quarantine the at-risk population instead of the entire population? And why are the at-risk still allowed to mix with gen pop at the grocery store? If social distancing works in the dairy aisle, why won’t it work between tables at Old Mexico?

I’m not saying the virus isn’t bad, I don’t know (and from recent news reports, nobody else does, either). I’m not even saying the restrictions are bad, I’m saying I don’t know because nobody has questioned the assumptions underlying the restrictions.

I wish there was some profession staffed by trained experts whose job it was to critically examine government and report their findings to the public.

  4. Virus containment is key. Stimulus will only do so much and is short lived. The US is unfortunately not close to containment and sorely lacking testing capabilities to identify hot spots. It took China a full two months and that was with a total lock down right out of the gate and massive testing. We have neither.

  5. Any official statements from the Chinese government are produced or approved by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China. The PDCPC monitors all of Chinese media and meets with Chinese media organizations weekly to issue them instructions.

  6. The Chinese have reinstated a shut down of movie theaters.
    I wonder why?

LoIQEm got this intel straight from teh Peevee’s neighbor, who is a world known epidemiologist, so you know it’s good shit.

    Hahahahahahahahahaaaaa!

Say, LoIQEm? Did you BOOK some sweet Sh0RT Salez Pr0fitz today?

  8. Meanwhile, Kommandant Frey has decreed that the Minneapolis police will enforce the stay-at-home order, and violators will face fines and jail time – even though we’re letting people out of jail to keep them safe from the virus. The Mayor isn’t really in favor of his police enforcing most other laws, but for this one – which isn’t even a law – he’ll make an exception.

  9. NW, all a guy has to do is learn a couple phrases in Spanish, say “No habla English” and you’ll be on your way.

I mean, what’s a cop in a lefty shithole gonna say; “You’re not dark enough to be an undocumented migrant”?

  10. Red Star headline in BOLD FONT

“Stay-at-home order now in effect; four Minnesotans dead from virus”

Between SP and Mpls, the body count from vibrancy is double that, every weekend.
