Decision Point

With all the ominous news about President Trump lately, I’ve been considering whether to vote Democrat.  But who to choose?
Beto O’Rourke supports the Menstrual Equity Act to guarantee women everywhere have access to feminine products during their “time of the month.” And he’s outspokenly in favor of banning certain guns, the Second Amendment be damned. Bold positions, those.
Marianne Williamson, who warned of Trump’s dark psychic forces, assures voters she’s not a kook.  Every politician should have learned the lesson from Richard Nixon – that never works, it only confirms what we all suspected.
Kamala Harris seems nice.  She was a prosecutor who may have refused to let an innocent man off death row.  And she started her climb up the ladder of success the old fashioned way – on her back.  Plus, she’s Negro so she has the moral authority to address the shameful legacy of slavery.  Well, nearly.  She’s certainly as much a descendant of African slaves as Elizabeth Warren is a descendant of Native American Indians
Hillary Clinton says Tulsi Gabbard and Jill Stein are Russian moles, planted in the primaries to help Trump win.  Hillary’s an expert on Russian collusion, she would know.  Plainly, I can’t vote for either of them.
I dunno, it’s almost as if all the people calling Trump’s pot black have black kettles of their own.  Maybe stick with the devil I know?
Joe Doakes

As with all current Democrat messaging, it’s about gulling the gullible, not convincing those who check their facts.

  1. If you gotta vote for a leftist reprobate, vote for Tulsi. She has something to offer in that she’s
    A) Not dumb as a stump.
    B) Fairly easy on the ears for a reprobate.
    C) Nice milkies too.

The rest of the bag of assholes are only useful if you’re one of the guys hoping to accelerate our journey towards ACWII.

  2. It’s really unfair that people notice the President’s crimes, especially when his chief of staff announces them at a press conference.

We have officially arrived at the “we have to admit it all and try to rationalize it” stage.

  3. Oodly enough, Tulsi will be rejected by the reprobates *because*

    A) Not dumb as a stump.
    B) No autistic screeching.
    C) Nice, genuine milkies.

  4. For crying out loud, Emery, how low can you go? Now you’re plagiarizing yourself!

  5. It probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Have lots of candidates and lots of debates. The dems thought that this would fill the airwaves with Trump hatred and give their candidates exposure.
It did. It also drove the candidates further and further left, and exposed their radical anti-Americanism. Against freedom of speech, against freedom of religion, against the right to bear arms, every one of them.

  6. Gotta ask; who’s the rube?

The dimwit that spews infantile twaddle, or the guy that responds to it?

  7. I tried, Swiftee, really, I did. At one point, I had gone two whole weeks without addressing the infantile twaddle. But I just couldn’t help myself.

Hey, maybe it’s an addiction. Maybe I’ve got a medical condition. I might be entitled to special privileges. Who are you to criticize me, when I have this crippling medical condition? Why are you such a hater? 🙂

  8. ^^ I still don’t understand the Deep State plot to hurt Trump’s campaign that resulted in him winning the election.

  9. We used to have a lefty who went by “AngryClown”, Joe. I don’t think you were around then, but he was by far the smartest of the pack of lefty slobs that have come through here. I believe he’d be D_K’s worst enemy; smart people don’t like mumbling idiots on their side of the fence but then again, considering he was no dolt it’s highly possible (maybe probable) he was really a righty just having fun with us.

Anyway, he’s gone and now we’re stuck with 1/4 wits D_K and teh little Peevee. It’s kind of representative of where the left has gone as a whole.

  10. ^^ Don’t be so naive. You see, what the Deep State really did was plot to get him elected so that it could then impeach and remove him.

  11. Angry Clown, ah, the good old days. Wasn’t he selling bonds on Wall Street, or somesuch financial chicanery? I wonder if they have internet in whatever non-extradition country he’s basking in the sun.

It’s weird – I used to read much more widely in the Twin Cities blogging scene, the Koolaid Report, the Nihilist in Golf Pants, the Red Star – but nowadays I seem to be self-limited to SITD and Powerline. I’ve got to get out more.

What’s Learned Foot up to, these days?
