Tantrum

Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:

California Democrats threaten to make the entire state a ‘sanctuary state’ by forbidding local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration officials. Trump, of course, has threatened to withhold federal funds from states that flout federal law.

This could work out really well in the long run.

Start by withholding funds from California.  They’ll either cave in, or they’ll learn to get along without federal money.  If they cave, we win.  If they live without the money, we still win, because it helps reduce the amount of money the federal government needs to balance its budget.

If enough states join the sanctuary movement, we can eliminate federal funding altogether and go back to the way the Constitution was intended to work.

Genius.

I love it.

  1. Democrat reprobates in Congress have chosen to play their tantrum out by boycotting their committees. I encourage that behavior, and recommend it to reprobates from sea to shining sea.

Refuse to attend your delegated duties, Democrats. Stick it to the man! In fact, I would like to recommend you all get on a bus to Chicago and hide there for the remainder of President Trump’s terms in office.

Chicago is a sanctuary city, and has said it intends to be a refuge of the persecuted; your persecution is just beginning, trust me. 2025 is not that far off and you could use the time to live among the people you claim to represent. You could probably lease an entire block on the South side for less than some of you spend on botox in a month.

I’m sure the Chicago PD would accommodate your rebellion by declaring the area a no-go zone for law enforcement.

  2. I see the city of Seattle is cutting all business ties with Wells-Fargo. Yes, the left wing bank isn’t pure enough for Seattle. I recall a few years ago, before I could get my money out of a Wells Fargo cash machine, I had to be subjected to an ad promoting homosexual causes. What’d that pandering buy you, Wells Fargo?

  3. I am sure all the celebriturds living in Cali will be glad to step in and pick up the tab for a better California. They can afford it. Faster, please.

  4. Urban America Unite!!!! You have nothing to lose but your subsidies. We’ll see you in the homeless camps.

  5. The Democrat Rules of Engagement:
    1) Identify foot.
    2) Click off the safety.
    3) Make certain gun is loaded
    4) Recite a political slogan from the official Libtard Manual.
    5) Place finger on trigger.
    6) Fire!
    7) Accuse First Responders of racism.

  6. Cali becomes sanctuary State, illegal immigration runs rampant, Hispanic insurrection ensues, Cali becomes 32nd Mexican State.

  7. Tangential to the tantrum theme, but more directly related to shooting one’s own foot, let us consider the actions of 84 lumber and Nordstrom’s.

We are all aware of the commercial 84 lumber aired during the Super Bowl. I didn’t see it, but I know it supported illegal immigration, which leads me to conclude ICE might find their franchises target rich environments for enforcement.

Nordstrom’s gave a face saving explanation after taking Ivana Trump brand clothing and jewelry off their shelves, but a memo from management has surfaced that is highly critical of President Trump. Nordstrom’s does not want to be part of making America great again.

Here’s what has me confused. How much lumber does 84 Lumber think leftist, urban dwelling SJW’s buy? They must think it’s a key demographic for them since all of us middle class, house building types won’t ever darken their doorsteps again.

And what was Nordstrom’s thinking? Have they not noticed their erstwhile allies favor ripped, smelly jeans and tattered black hoodies? A 6 pack of crew socks is a major clothing buy for these people.

Target is headed for the tank; General Mills is struggling; Budweiser had already lost 1/2 their market share to craft brews before they pissed off their NASCAR\WWF\Monster Truck base.

The left is crumbling right before our eyes which, given the fact that we are winning so much we are in danger of getting tired of winning makes me wonder if we are not on the cusp of a new golden age of Western culture and American traditionalism.

  8. Budweiser had already lost 1/2 their market share to craft brews

It did not go unnoticed that Bud acquired Karbach, a local Houston craft brewery. The day after, all Karbach taps were removed from one of the largest local craft brewery bar chains (each bar has 100 craft beers on tap).

So, read the fine print on them craft brewery labels, Bud is buying the competition.

  9. The question I have as Macy’s, and apparently Nordstrom’s, circle the drain is where the revival comes from. I have wonderful memories of walking into Marshall Field’s (before Macy’s destroyed it) needing a suit, and within five minutes the salesman had about five in my size to fit my personal skin/hair colors. I think he measured me to make sure he guessed the size right, but I’m not sure.

Fast forward to today, and you can hardly find a salesman at Macy’s, their clothes are hung improperly on the wrong hangers….the demise of mid to upper range department stores is quite frankly a suicide.

  10. 3) Look down barrel, make certain gun is loaded

SF, and since libturds in the movies and stills always, ALWAYS have their finger on the trigger, hilarity ensues!

  11. Re; inbev, 84 lumber.
It seems that in order to make a profit, our entrepreneurial class needs a global market for its capital, labor and products.
They should be replaced with people who are able to be more flexible.

  12. Here’s what has me confused. How much lumber does 84 Lumber think leftist, urban dwelling SJW’s buy?

Let me turn that around for you: which employees make the decision they need what lumber for a project? Sure, there’s usually a general contractor who comes up with the budget, but the way things work is that there’s usually a crew chief who does the actual buying, and if Jose has a choice between Lowes, Home Depot, and 84 Lumber, which might he choose after that ad? Even the CEO of 84 admitted she was aiming more towards employees (hers and those of builders) than anybody else.

  13. You could be right Nerd, but I can see Bill, of Bill’s construction company LLC saying “”84 Lumber? No way, Jose”

  14. Budweiser is buying up all the competition? In Virginia, big tobacco is buying up a whole chain of Vape stores called “Avail Vapor.” They’re almost up to 100 shops. Then?

  15. BB, when I got suits for my wedding, we went to Joseph A Bank. Measured, fitted and tailored. We got 1 each for me, my best man and my dad on a 3 for 1 deal (which I still regularly see ads for). If I was in an industry that required wearing suits, I’d definitely hit them back up during those sales. When it’s all said and done, the price per suit was comparable to off the rack and untailored from any department store I’ve shopped at, and probably cheaper than Nordstrom’s.

  16. bb;

My wife bought me two suits for Christmas from Macy’s online.

I had to return one because the size was right, but the jacket was too tight.

Took it to the Southdale store. Everyone was very helpful. Always had great experiences at that store.

I’ll have to look elsewhere now.

  17. If the United States was a family, California would be the childless aunt, living on a trust fund, claiming that all of her relatives wanted her to tell them how to live, since she was so obviously successful.
