Casualties Of Politics: Childhood

Lego has jumped on the “diversity of opinion and dissent are “hate”” wagon…

Lego will stop advertising its products in the Daily Mail, following a public campaign calling on big companies to drop adverts from newspapers accused of promoting “hatred, discrimination and demonisation”, the company has announced.

…and also the shark.

No more Legos.  It’ll hurt, but I can’t handle the language or the discourse being raped like this anymore.

  1. Those of us that lead Lego free lives need something to boycott. I suggest we tie in Pillsbury and shame them until they drop their references to “Leggo” in their Eggo advertising.

  2. Exactly what did the Daily Mail do to earn Legos’ ire besides report the news somewhat differently than others? Maybe fire the editorial board and reporters, hire new ones, and rename the rag “Pravda” or “Izvestia” or something, and they’ll get the advertising back?

And where would they be advertising in the Mail anyways? Maybe in their routine articles about celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Iggy Azelea, or Emily Ratajkowski? I think we can safely call this one “virtue signaling”, as the Mail’s brand of journalism isn’t exactly kid-friendly. “Mom, dad, can I have this Lego set? By the way, what’s an ‘award winning vulva’?”

  3. Well…..Lego did make a movie attacking businessmen, while sellling expensive over priced plastic trinkets that any good machinest could make in his garage for pennies.
