Cis-Schlub
By Mitch Berg
Rachel Dolezal has “identified” as black since she was 5.
I’ve “identified” as a Chicago Bears middle linebacker, an F-15 pilot, as James Honeyman-Scott (albeit not dead) and as a very wealthy guy since I was 6, 12, 16 and 35, respectively.
Let’s show those cis-athletes, cis-pilots, cis-rock starts and cis-plutocrats who’s boss, shall we?

Better add cis-artists too.

Appears that plagiarizing is a pretty common theme among leftists…right, Emery?

You identified as Singletary, I as the Fridge. :^)
(the only things we had in common were our last name, our love of the Bears, and we’re about the same height….)

Ward Churchill, the faux Native American academic, had the same problem with plagiarizing art.
All is proceeding as I have foreseen. Orwell made it clear that the essence of totalitarianism was not just power, but arbitrary power. Any rules the State had to follow, even rules like logic and consistency, restricted its power to act.
Ethnic or sexual authenticity restricts the power of the totalitarians, so sex becomes gender, and authenticity becomes “authenticity.” Obama is the half-Kenyan non-descendant of slaves, the son of academics, raised in Hawaii and Indonesia, and the product of prep-schools and private colleges. Obama is not Black, he is “Black.” Hillary is middle-class, Rubio is rich.
The most important meaning of the word authentic is that an authentic item is true, not false.
Is Dolezal’s painting authentic when she herself is not authentic? Answer: both Dolezal and her painting are “authentic.”

I am a canary. I will not have my identity caged by scare quotes.

I used to identify as Don Garlits and Tom Sneva a couple decades ago….
The Gestapo financially scared me back into compliance, unfortunately.

If what the TSA does is effective, why do we need a “cannot fly” list? If a “cannot fly” list is effective, why do we need a TSA?
Very clever, these orcs.

And now she’s arguing that there is no proof that she was born to her parents. Apparently she’s unaware that her birth certificate is a legal document attested by the doctors and the state.

Is it too early speculate on a Trump/Dolezal ticket?
I don’t think so.
