I’m a Jerk. You’re a Jerk.

By Johnny Roosh

Welcome to the club. Please pass the Grey Poupon.

The richer people are, the ruder they are, according to Dacher Keltner, a psychology professor at the University of California, Berkeley.

Are rich people rude?

…or are rude people rich?

And yet while the rich may be rude because they are wealthy, it is just as likely to be the other way around. Just as plausibly, they are wealthy because they are rude.

So screw you.

Jerks.

PS Aw, shucks. Sorry. *Hug*

    AC must be a billionaire

The rich might be ruder because they have to deal with the rabble wanting them to “share the wealth”.

So Mitch, that exaplins why whever you get any money it is gone in an instant. (It’s true for most of us!) As for sharing the wealth, the richest Americans (Democrats) are the ones that insist the rest of us do that. Hmmmm… I am seeing a pattern.

(Hey, AC? Can you spare a few hundred million bucks to bail out my company?)

Berkeley is the most well-mannered place on Earth. So Keltner would know.

  5. Troy Says:

Dang! I was going to give you some money in hopes of making you a less rude person, but then you went and ruined it all. 😉

Those poor, disappearing rich people. I heard of a study done in Britain in the late 1980’s that said the group of people with the greatest negative effect on society were not the newly rich, or even necessarily ‘the rich’ but rather the dilletente children of the landed gentry – they essentially sucked off their parent’s teets, produced little to nothing (mostly), and played havoc with the political and economic systems. Makes you wonder whether your comments above (Mitch) – reinforce the idea that people born with a silver spoon in their mouths would be better off handed a shovel and told to get to work like the rest of us.

Perhaps there is no issue with rich people per se’ – certainly not with the innovators, but rather the idea of institutionalizing wealth.

Sorry, Roosh, I see you were the author.

“They produced little to nothing.” You mean like the almost 40% of wage earners who produce little (mostly nothing) in their share of income taxes?

Right. Let me know if you find that study, so we can put it in some kind of context.

Failing that, please show us what percentage of GNP is reflected by the “dilettante child” sector.

I saw a study that says Peni is off topic 89.73% of the time.

Sorry, just being a jerk… I think I’m up for a raise this year.
