On The Second Day Of Reagan’s Birthday…

By Mitch Berg

…my true love gave to me:

Two times for choosing, and a shining city on a hill!

Trying to find just the right bottle of wine to go with a Reagan’s Birthday party.  Big Top is woefully short of jelly-bean shiraz.

    McManis has a nice cab…

McManis Cab is very good. They also make a gangbuster chadonay. Other good picks:

    Windmill Cab
Gnarly Head Cab or Gnarly Dudes (blended table wine)
    Toad Hollow Pinot Noir
    MacMurray Ranch Pinot Noir

All are California wines, so you can celebrate that angle wiythout having to stoop to candy flavored wines.
