    Two thoughts;
    1) That knowledge is a Feature, not a Bug of this Nomination.

    2) At one point, I thought that CNN may have been trying to make a comeback and rediscovery its roots as an actual news channel. That time included when Stelter was unceremoniously fired from the Network. Now that CNN’s reformer of a boss has been run off and Stelter has been rehired, I no longer think the Network has a chance. Like the NYT, the employees have exerted their control over their management, and I can’t wait for the layoffs to commence.

    It used to be that newsmen instinctively understood why it was a bad thing when government got into telling journalists what to write and say. Quite different these days!
