My cousin’s ex-republican girlfriend just posted about a lady New Zealand politician doing a haka in their parliament and how white women are “riveted” because it’s powerful. I almost commented on the post about how those same whyte womyn that have admittedly no cultural ties to the practice are culturally appropriating it like the colonizers they are.
Sometimes it sucks to let that hanging curve go past when the coach tells you to just take the pitch. 😉
