Why have we learned so little about yet another spree killing in yet another blue city?
Oh:
The rifle-wielding suspect who donned a bulletproof vest before allegedly shooting dead five men and injuring two children in Philadelphia has been identified as a Black Lives Matter supporter who shared gun-toting memes on social media.
Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was nabbed shortly after the bloodshed in the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood Monday night, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing sources.
Cops haven’t yet publicly disclosed the suspect’s identity.
On his Facebook page, Carriker posted two pictures of himself wearing a bra, a women’s top and earrings with his hair braided long in March, three months before the alleged shooting.
Now, I’m not going to say that being trans/nonbinary predisposes anyone toward carnage. But there’s been a bit of a streak lately:
And the best the MSM can do to explain it is to compare the number of trans spree killers [1] with the raw number of mass shootings [2] – which is a little like saying “Elizabeth Taylor didn’t have a lot of husbands” by comparing her total marriage count to all of the marriages in the country.
[1] A mass shooting [2] where the only motivation is to kill people
[2] Any shooting involving 3+ victims – a botched robbery, a murder-suicide, a gangland driveby, even a self-defense shooting where someone takes out a group of attackers.

There needs to be a distinction (one the press will never make) between a gunfight and a spree killing. In the later, only one side is armed.
IMHO, gunfights are easier to suppress………..by simply applying the laws already on the books. I mean…..how many gun totting gang-bangers have a long, long criminal history of gun violations?

Addressing the problem of gun violence, we need to turn our sentencing guidelines on their head.
There is a completely valid argument that goes: the majority of violent crimes are committed by young men and science tells us that the brains of males in their teens and early twenties have not matured to where they can make rational decisions.
This is true, but it is not an excuse to let them off easy, rather teens and males in their twenties who have committed violent crimes should be incarcerated until such time as they can prove they are cognitively mature.
The average is around 28, and sadly for many in single parent and dysfunctional homes, the average age is well into the 30’s.

I overheard our Guatemalan pool boy, Guillermo (they really seem to have a knack for pool care) was chatting with our Mexican gardener Hector ( I speak fluent Spanish) just yesterday.. they cannot understand our maricón problemo.
Evidently throughout the dark half of the American continent, there’s a number to call and POOF! your trans problems are over. I guess as long as you don’t get on the wrong side of the Narcos, the only thing related to guns Guatamexidorians worry about are the armed coyotes herding girls towards the border of Estados Unidos.

Yes, we might ask whether it’s a trans issue, but along with shooting up a place to “stop gun violence”, the wearing of a bra and other factors suggest a mental health issue. I don’t know that there were sufficient red flags to act, or whether it falls into the category of “this guy is weird but we thought he was harmless”, but at least a look at his mental condition would be appropriate.

Seems as if The Emery Collective doesn’t punch in until around 10:00 a.m. these days. Long time to wait for inanity. That must be, what, 10:30 at night in China? Maybe it just takes that long to get the list of Today’s Talking Points distributed. Not very efficient.

The Czech Republic.
Firearms are available to anyone without a criminal record and aged above 18 (or 21 for certain license categories). Self-defense with a gun, including using lethal force, is considered as justified self-defense.
And yet, any shooting is national news.
How can this be?
Well, whenever we wing into Prague for a weekend holiday, we’re always amazed by the complete lack of melanated people…I mean there are none. That probably accounts for the cleanliness of the city, and the absence of any gang graffiti, or spray can murals memorializing dead black thugs.
A while ago, last year I think, or it may have been the trip before that, I forget, we were chatting (I speak fluent Czech)with some friendly Prague locals at a charming sidewalk cafe, where we were enjoying a lovely Porto and a chilled Brie and caviar plate.
The thought of importing Africans, or Arabs horrified them. We agreed with them, naturally. A city of such architectural marvels is no place for 75IQ savages, is it?
Then we all jumped into the land rover (we never bother locking it) and hit the discothèque for a fun evening.

Oh, hehe, an amusing anecdote. I mentioned to our Czech friends that our black citizens like to jog in Woodland work boots.
They thought it was a Sopranos reference to “cement overshoes”….they love that show.
It may have been the Armand de Brignac Rose cocktails, but we all thought that was hilarious…laughed and laughed.
