Social services get funding based on how much need exists – which means it’s in their interests to make sure people know to get their needs out, front and center.
No stone left unturned.

Nothing like bribing grifters with free dinners and gift cards.

Free dinner, and they’ll pay you $25 to be the Voice of Change®️
They had better be careful, or they’ll have a drive-by.

I like the “RSVP by…”
LMAO.
Those slobs have to have their mail in ballots filled out by reprobates and delivered for them.

RSVP? But….but…..isn’t this the same demographic who are incapable of securing a state ID to vote? Unable to shovel their walks, or feed their kids due to poverty? No access to internet due to systemic racism?
How are they supposed to RSVP, huh? Or even know what the hell RSVP means?
They should be taking the show, dinner and gift cards to them. And maybe pick up a pack of Newports on the way…..

That’s the situation in most large, leftist controlled cities, Bigman.
The teachers union will say it’s due to the Covid shutdowns, which I’ll point out the unions fought tooth and nail to keep in place as long as possible.
People will say black students bring down achievement scores, but that fact falls flat when the entire cohort fails.

Covid also turbo-powered cheating in higher ed: https://www.thefp.com/p/dishonor-code-what-happens-when-cheating
College by Zoom also seems to have convinced many students to look at their education with more cynicism. Nobody at the colleges actually seemed to care about teaching them anything. They are credential mills.
