    They can’t. Too many receipts. Biden’s name is all over pushing the vaxx as safe & effective, issuing mandates, “winter of illness and death,” etc.
    You may remember that Pfizer delayed announcing the vaxx until 5 days after the 2020 election.
    Biden saw a chance to grab the glory and make himself the king of vaxx.
    Hasn’t quite worked out that way.
    Call it yet another unforced error by Team Biden.

    As to the documents, the nice folks at revolver.com think that Biden will be Watergate-d and he’ll resign (they’ll force him to). They’ll offer ice cream too.

    Suddenly it felt like the story just disappeared. Yet last month there was a preliminary hearing, and a slew of evidence was presented — including the elusive 911 call, the body cam footage, interviews, and the Capitol Police security footage.

    Here is an AP fact check disputing the claim that the CDC changed the definition of “vaccine” on its website from “grants immunity from a disease” to “grants protection from a disease” in 2021, after it became clear that the covid vax did not grant immunity from covid.

    I see the CDC shift a bit differently; given that there have always been breakthrough infections, they’re finally being a bit honest. But that said, the limited efficacy of COVID vaccinations almost certainly played into their work.

    Regarding the original topic, I remember how during the Obama administration, there seemed to be a new mini-scandal every two weeks. Just as one scandal was about to get traction, you’d see a new scandal come up and push that one off page 1. I suspected that Obama was using new scandals to play “rope-a-dope” with the media, and either they never caught on, or they were willing accomplices.

    But this does not mean that the agency altered it because of problems with the coronavirus vaccines.
    All problems with the covid vax aside, the definition was changed because under the old definition the covid jab could not be described as a vaccine.The correct term to use for the covid vaccine is “prophylaxis,” though that may change as the vax becomes less effective at preventing illness and death from covid while its harmful effects remain the same.

    I think the definition change is much more sinister than a mere “correction,” Bikebubba. No one, of course, has demanded to see the paper work, meeting minutes, etc., about the definition change. Yet the CDC said that they made the change in the interests of “transparency.”
    We are now at a point where most of the covid hospitalizations and deaths in the US are in the fully vaxxed and boosted population.
    Imagine of this were the case for any other vaccine.
    Now it appears that the highest number of hospitalizations and deaths among the vaxxed is a consequence of the fact that the most likely people to be vaxxed are the very old and very ill.
    But if the CDC admitted that, it would mean that the old and infirm were the most likely to die from covid all along (tho we all know that anyway). It would call into question decisions by public health officials to concentrate on population-wide preventative measures rather than protecting the most at risk among us.
    It is corruption all the way down.

    Despite being pro-choice, I can understand why people are pro-life. Why don’t you try to make the same good faith effort?

    The GOP was gifted a solution completely simpatico to their supposed core beliefs by SCOTUS (leaving “it” to the states) and they are going to screw it up by playing to the far right. Republicans have earned and will continue to earn their wilderness years.
