At One Point Or Another…

…I was reliably informed that Justice Sotomayor was “wise“.
I’d like to get a check on that.

Take a good look at that face – that wise Latina drinks a fair bit.

Yea, when the WaPo fact checks you and gives you four Pinocchios, the number 2 Fuehrer of the CDC and even dip stick Brian Stelter call you out, your shit is in the wind.

Babylon Bee is very clever and satirical but they aren’t usually mean. Check out this headline, Legal Experts Ask Justice Sotomayor To Recuse Herself From Case Due To Her Being An Idiot. I like it, but it’s unexpected.

… even better, this one. Oral Arguments Postponed As Justice Sotomayor Gets Gavel Stuck Up Her Nose Again.
Again. Heh.

Sotomayor has long been known as the dumb bunny of the Supreme Court.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg? She was a hard core ideologue. Ginsberg would look to any conceivable source for a precedent when she wanted to change the interpretation of a law — other than the actual words of the law, or, heaven forbid, the Constitution. She found certainty only in her ideology, and this ideology was far left as well as eccentric.

MP,
Ginsburg would at least admit that Roe vs Wade was terrible made up Law.
I’ve also heard that Chief Justice Rehnquist would assign Decisions to Ginsburg because she, mostly, write restrained and defensible Opinions, unlike many of the other liberals on the Court at the time.
Sotomayor, OTOH, comes across as a wannabe tinpot dictator. I’d have to conduct a review to be sure (which I won’t), but I don’t think she has written an official Opinion for any important, controversial Decisions. I don’t recall any of the top of my head. I think that she relegated to near unanimous Opinions and personal Dissents and Concurrences.

Sotomayor’s verbiage reminds me of how the guy who appointed her to the court infamously warned the court against applying Marbury v. Madison to the Health Insurance Deform Act. Great legal minds think alike.
Regarding her visage, remember that she’s a type 1 diabetic (e.g. not her fault) and 67 years old. She’s got plenty of reasons to have a couple of wrinkles and such.

Bryer also made an ass of himself.
The left is in tatters.

I’m sorry, I meant to say America is in tatters.
When an idiot the likes if Sotomayor is on the Supreme Court, making life changing decisions instead of changing sheets at the Cincinnati Holiday Inn, we must admit the left is triumphant.

Regarding her visage…
67. Big deal. I pretty much don’t care if she’s diabetic – or unmentioned, obese – which she is. Her entire job consists of regurgitating what she’s told. She knows she’s a fraud and fears being exposed and ridiculed. Of course, she’s an alkie – anyone with even a scintilla of self-respect would drink in that situation.

She also claimed 100,000 children are in serious condition from Covid. The director of CDC was compelled to correct that lie.

OK, one thing to add is that I’m not as troubled by Sotomayor’s bad statistics as I am by her bad jurisprudence. Screwing up the number of people sick in hospitals is nowhere near as bad as screwing up the difference between federal and state realms of soverignty.
