Everyone Is Apparently Racist
By Mitch Berg
Apparently so, since not only – as I pointed out two weeks ago – do minorities benefit disproportionately from “stand your ground” laws, but now we find that a very solid majority supports the laws overall.
The obvious conclusion – most people are smarter than the media.

Mitch:
The problem I have with a poll like this is that Minnesotans overwhelming supported voter ID, but the amendment went down. How?
Because the DFL mobilized it and didn’t pay a price for opposing it. That’s why they can go out and tax the rich, destroy Minnesota daycare, but zero standards into education while claiming to save it, etc.

I’m not surprised. I don’t have solid numbers, but in the last 3 universities where I taught or studied, the Journalism department was where the failed English majors went. So even if you’re just considering the Liberal Arts programs, journalists are at the bottom of the barrel.

Nerd, does it get better for journalists when they finally reveal they “know stuff”? Is there some sort of defining event that conveys to the journalist they know enough stuff to use it as bona fides?
Does a leftist pedigree lift “citizen journalists” above the mire somewhat?
I’m fascinated by this journalist community.
