I remember reading Newsweek growing up. It had actual news and reasonably mainstream analysis.
These days routing their content to /dev/null is too generous.

At what point do the Smart(TM) people who manage the Democrat Dominated Media Culture realize that the weekly newsmagazine as created in the ’20’s has gone the way of the manual start engine of the same era? For that matter, why is more than one weekly newsmagazine that strictly reflects the attitude of the Democrat Dominated Media Culture (meaning what you read in Time or US News is almost word-for-word and in line with what you will read in Newsweek) at a time when one already knows what the Democrat Dominated Media Culture thinks with their many tweets and web pages.
Over the weekend, Boston Red Sox & NASCAR owner John Henry bought for $70 million what the NY Times Company paid $1 billion for 20 years ago. I don’t invest in media company’s the way I once did, so I don’t follow or care how they make money these days. But I have to imagine the Carlos Slim, the worldest richest man is wishing he hadn’t invested so much in the NY Times Company now.
