The Dog Keeps Eating Their Homework

Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:

If the dice at your casino come up seven every single time – about which you are shocked to learn and know nothing – I’m eventually going to wonder why these dice defy the odds and I will begin to question your credibility.

If the scandals in your administration – about which you are shocked to learn and know nothing – run against conservatives every single time, I’m eventually going to wonder why this long string of incidents defies the odds and I will begin to question your credibility.

The sheer lack of likelihood of all this working out in the President’s favor argues that he is complicit, but even more when you consider that in all of these cases, nothing has been done to prevent it from happening again. Everything is still designed to produce the same results.

We’re late in this game and we’re losing.

Real citizens and patriots would be…

    (coining a phrase)

    …”going ballistic.”

They threw tea in the harbor…

IRS and Google: I’m a Tea Partier and I supported Michelle Bachman.

    Did you get that?

    Another chance:

I sign with my own name, I support Mitch Berg, Joe from Como Park, Michelle Bachman and the

    TEA PARTY.

    Bring it on.

The connection between Obama and the corrupt side of Chicago pay-for-play politics is Valerie Jarret. An awful lot of public money ended up in her pockets and the pockets of her friends.

    So Obama’s choice is this:
He and his administration are corrupt and using the full power of the gov’t to harrass and try to shut down his political opponents.
Or he has no control over a massive gov’t bureaucary that is totally out of control.

This actually seems kind of petty in light of current scandals, but last year government run radio NPR was calling for a boycott and the distruction of opposition media personality Rush Limbaugh. Your tax dollars at work.

  5. Seflores Says:

I thought President Obama might be in trouble when one of low-information-America’s three most trusted news sources Jon Stewart (the other two being Stephen Colbert – a left wing actor who charactures Bill O’Reilly – and TMZ), opined that the way Obama reacts to these scandal revelations would lead one to believe that Obama learned that “Obama killed Osama” by watching himself on television telling the American people about the successful raid.
At the end of the day, I’d bet these various ‘scandals’ come to nothing. Obama is so removed from everything (how does this guy have so much time and money(!) for golf 3-4 times a week and winters in Hawaii and summers at Martha’s Vineyard?) because he really doesn’t do anything. It’s easy to throw people under the bus when you are not on the bus to begin with.

I’m guessing, like Seflores, that nobody that “matters” is going to go to jail over this, though thankfully, as in the Benghazi case, low level staffers are lawyering up to tell the truth and are not quietly being tossed under the bus. I’m hoping and praying that we’ll be proven wrong.

(Mr. D. linked to a fascinating John Kass column demonstrating how Chicago pols are notoriously hard to convict of their crimes, by the way….well worth a read how the Mayors Capone–I mean Daley–ruled the city with an iron hand but without going to jail)

(no insult intended to the Capones!)

And given his accomplishments, I’d be very happy if Obama played two rounds of golf per day to prevent him from doing more. Could be a wonderful way of holding the size of government in check.
