Priorities

Peggy Noonan on the media’s kid-gloves coddling of Slow Joe Biden:
If it had been a Republican vice presidential candidate who had made those gaffes, one after another, so comically, and all on tape, the subject today of the panel would be how stupid is this person, can this person possibly govern?
They know what matters, though. Romney’s income taxes and holding impromptu on-air conference committees to reconcile the Romney and Ryan budgets, three months before the election and five months before they take (God willing) office.

After reading Ron Paul’s budget proposal, I wish Obama and Romney would both lose.

Look at the press coverage of Michelle Bachmann, and Betty “dumb as a box of rocks” McCallum.
Or…..the one follow-up story on the DC shooting done by the gay-rights activist, refused to say that he was a gay-rights volunteer and activist.

Now, now, Kermit. That doesn’t fit with the meme.
I’m not a Paul supporter, mainly because I don’t dig the idea of us getting nuked. But if people think things are going to be meaningfully different fiscally or socially under a President Romney, they should seriously think again. The elites have once again shoved a milquetoast moderate down the base’s throats under the ‘he’s not Zero!’ meme. And that’s annoying as hell.

Calvin Coolidge ain’t running. Romney is the most conservative candidate who can win.
He has my vote.
