This will certainly provoke a 637 word screed from DG about conservative racism, misogyny, the always popular “avalanche of violence”, the purity of NPR, and more fallacious reasoning about why christians (Catholics in particular) are destroying democracy.

  4. Mr. D Says:

    Hard to argue with that.

  5. LearnedFoot Says:

Wait, is this the comment thread for the blog header banner?

I shall commence FACTCHECKING the word “Shot”.

  6. kel Says:

You’re correct Foot, “Shot” does contribute to the “avalanche of violence” that DG and her step-sister peev are always whinging about a-a-a-and shooting in the dark is typical of the ignorant, christian, gun-toting, Tea Party mien.

  7. Kermit Says:

No, it has to be about another “moonbat pelt nailed to the wall” as Swiftee would put it. NPR just got a bit more “fair and balanced” by throwing it’s bigot CEO under the bus.
Now if they could just find a token black to replace Juan Williams. It seems Fox News is the only network who can find black journalists.

DeeGee wrote on some obscure lefty blog:

“Given the focus of some conservatives against teaching science, …it makes a certain amount of sense that teachers unions would be targeted for attack.

Recognizing that women have traditionally earned less than men for the same skill and the same work, and continue to earn less despite advances, it makes sense that women make up a significant demographic of the target by conservatives. Women in every aspect of their lives are facing conservative culture war attacks; collective bargaining which helps level that playing field are a logical target.”

    *facepalm*

Breathtaking. The bloggist’s contempt for textism pushes aside the constraining, narrowing frames of meaning we cling to out of fear. Rather than forming a barrier, the negative space invites us in and asks us to fill it with our own soul, as if this blog is Me in the Dark.

  10. Kermit Says:

It’s as if Berg has synthesized the sum intellectual output of all lefty blogging into one succinct statement in one post. This is sheer brilliance! The PenigFeckeStool Minnpost!

  13. Mr. D Says:

I finally figured it out. It’s the transcript of Mark Dayton’s radio show.

  14. LearnedFoot Says:

No, this is the “Seinfeld” of blog posts.

  15. Kermit Says:

Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
