ANNOUNCER: “Mr. President! You’ve just signed a bill that didn’t actually “solve” a nonexistent “problem” [1]! What are you going to do now?”
PRESIDENT OBAMA: I’m going to solve another one!”. [2]
After a hard-fought victory on health care reform, President Barack Obama’s allies in Congress are setting their sights on climate change — but some on both sides are already crying foul.
AMERICA [speaking Patrius ex machina]: “Er…how about going to Disneyland instead?”
[1] Really – what was the “problem”? Two of them, really: Uninsured Americans (of which there are about 14 million, not 30 million) and rising costs. Obamacare won’t solve the former, and it’ll make healthcare unaffordable for most people without government assistance. Some solution!
[2] For those of you who for whatever reason need it disclosed – no. This was not literally an interview that actually happened.

Well, yeah. It is. There are not 30 million involuntarily uninsured in this country. More like 14 million.
A problem to be solved? Sure.
Worth socializing medicine for? Absolutely not.

Mitch, the instinct of the Left is to turn every problem anyone has into a social problem.
Can’t get a mortgage? Social problem!
Gotta mortgage but can’t afford to pay it? Social problem!
Feel like you are a woman born in a man’s body (or vice-versa)! Social problem!
Kids at school calling your kid a sissy? Social problem!
Prefer incandescent over florescent lights? Social problem!
Car tires are under inflated? Social problem!
Can’t have a baby? Social problem!
Don’t want to have a baby? Social problem!
Fall off your bicycle and hit your head? Social problem!
Would you rather save money for a down payment than buy health insurance? Social problem!
The list never ends. Ever.

Terry, not just a “social problem”, a “crisis”.
And they will never let a “crisis” go to waste, especially when they can further CONTROL the masses, er citizens.
