Like Rain On Your Wedding Day

By Mitch Berg

Nick Coleman’s latest column is particularly incoherent.  It’s really beneath fisking.

But I thought this bit (emphasis added) was a welcome improvement:

“Get Motivated!” includes talks from Zig Ziglar (couldn’t his parents have given him a decent first name?), Colin Powell (hey, he helped lie his country into war!) and John Stossel, the officious prig and unsung hero who drove Barbara Walters off “20/20.”

No, not that he’s become a great columnist or anything.  But it seems he’s learned to parody himself FOR us – or at least deliver the material, gift-wrapped…

The column reads like he had a stroke while he was writing it.

Perhaps the column is the product of a secret tag team writing operation? 😉

  3. Paul Says:

Anybody find a point in all that?

    What a dumbass Coleman is.

    Hilary Hinton “Zig” Ziglar

I’m sure he favors the name Hilary more than Zig.

    moron.

Gosh darned! I thought that Nick Coleman had to start working for a living! I only knew of the Bill Clinton speech from an ad in the “dead tree” presspatch. From the column it appears that Nick Coleman attended the event but I can’t be sure. It’s like the old deal with bands. “How many people “paid the cover” and attended? With these speeches there is a “no media” request. Why? You can bet that if someone not politically favored by the media made an “inappropriate” comment at one of these “no media” speeches it would have gotten out.

To use the band analogy, how many people showed up? Let’s assume that “Nickboy” was actually in attendence. Wouldn’t it be logical to scan the auditorium and make an estimate of the crowd in attendence.

This is not “rocket science”. I follow the Symbionese Liberation Army at my http://soliah.com . Kathleen Ann Soliah/Sara Jane Olson had a “terrorist cookbook” release event, covered in advance by both local newspapers. I covered ti and estimated attendence at no more than “several dozen”. Later it was revised to ten from info I recieved. http://www.soliah.com/mayday.htm

Why didn’t Nick Coleman give an attendence estimate for the Bill Clinton speech?

For more on Nick Coleman here he is trying to dig out of his early support of now convicted terrorist Kathleen Ann Soliah/Sara Jane Olson in a Marie Claire Magazine article on the Soliah/Olson family. http://www.marieclaire.com/world/news/Mom-Secret
