The Honor System For The Dishonorable

By Mitch Berg

How open is the state’s ruinous new “family leave” law to Minnesota businesses?

The Legislature has barely begun to count the ways.

Representative Marion Rarick is counting:

There is literally nothing preventing an entire extended family from chucking daily life on the company dime for six months – on the honor system.

I know businesses that have already left Minnesota due to this provision.

Why, it’s almost as if putting a bunch of Sandy Feists and Andy Smiths into a room with unlimited authority was a terrible idea.

I’ve previously commented on this disastrous law, but it always needs to be repeated.
Since I call on small to large companies all day, I can tell you that this issue is far worse than the DemoCommies will ever acknowledge.
First, most of my customers and prospects, know the employees in their companies that will take full advantage of this.
Second, the number of those firms that are either exploring a move or already have the ball rolling, is now at 40. Two have already moved. Total employment for these companies is just under 1,200.
Some GOP member needs to challenge these morons what they will do when businesses leave.

Oh my God!! That was friggin’ painful to watch. So in answer to the representative’s question — have you determined how many care givers can take care of one person with the floor being 3 and the upper limit is 50, the answer is ‘No’ we don’t have a number. Here come the Somalis!!!!!!!!

Because it’s not like “Feeding our Future” robbed the taxpayer of a quarter billion dollars, with pretty much bupkus done by state authorities until the FBI got involved.

Oh, wait. That’s exactly the case. It seems that the DFL is trying to create a dishonest electorate.

Listening to the video, its clear there is no upper limit. It’s like being on Oprah: “YOU get paid time off to be with Grandma. And YOU get paid time off to be with Grandma. And YOU get…..”

Oh Sure, they have an Integrity Unit. But would they dare to disqualify a Somali Muslim family claimant? Isn’t that automatic proof of racism to Keith Ellison? Would you want to be the government employee who makes that disqualification decision?

Looks like more work coming up for Joe Thompson in the US attorney’s office to prosecute fraud in Minnesota.

It’s really kind of amazing how utterly corrupt MN has become. The national media, especially that of the right-wing (eg, PJ Media) is reporting on the billions of kyped by Somalis and their protectors, but that’s just the big stuff. There’s also this family leave scandal. The corruption is everywhere and no one in the metro area really cares – at least, no one who might do anything about it.

The peak from which MN has fallen was probably when Wendy was holding that (puny) northern on the cover of Time magazine. Everything since has been a slow descent into this slough we find ourselves in now. And let me add, mainly due to native MN whyte people (like my cousins) giving it all away.
