As a cyclist, I cringe when I see people zipping along on electric bikes at 15-20mph, generally without a helmet; they’re not developing the physical awareness they need to avoid problems, and they’re going far faster than they could have under their own power.
Maybe it’s a Darwinian thing? With subsidies, they get people to off themselves who are too timid to get on a real “donorcycle”?
