I get that Democrats have no experience in high-stakes real estate negotiations so they have no idea how The Art of The Deal is done. But have they never been to Mexico? Never bargained over a souvenir? Hell, never bought a used car or anything at a garage sale? The seller always starts high and comes down in order to make the deal, exactly as Trump has been doing with tariffs.
And Democrats think that means he’s chickening out? How stupid are they? No, how stupid do they think WE are, that we don’t understand how the game is played?
Unbelievable.

C’mon, Mr Doakes, the hint is in that tweet, “said DNC chair, Ken Martin”. Silly stunts like this work great on MN metro area voters.

OK, I’m as game to mock the DFL as anyone, but we need to remember as well that Trump has been stepping in it a LOT by moving quicker than his legislative and judicial cover. In doing so, he’s not doing “art of the deal”, but rather “I dare you to try to stop me.” The courts are (thankfully) noticing, and it’s not just Biden and Obama appointees.

Thanks for the post. The Dems keep proving how inept they are. They immediately owned themselves by parking their taco truck in the wrong spot. That’s akin to scheduling a meeting and no one shows up.
