Shot in the Dark

City Council Reps And County Attorney Of The Flies

This past Tuesday, scads of feds – FBI, DHS, BATFE – raided eight different businesses around the Twin Cities, serving search warrants related to human trafficking.

Seven of the raids went off without a hitch.

But the eighth – at Lake and Bloomington, deep in the heart of white, progressive Minneapolis – was different.  The Feds rolled in in MRAPs and full battle rattle.

And, in their own way, so did Minneapolis’s entire progressive power structure; the video is worth a watch:

Watching the woman at around 1:15 is enough to make me realize I sold Michael Savage short: progressivism certainly appears to be a manifestation of some kind of emotional trouble.

Around 3:00 minutes in, you can see the crowd – white, progressive, lots of tattoos and man-buns – starting to push and shove the feds.  It’s almost as if someone wants to institgate another riot.

Around 7:00, the crowd starts to dump trash barrels on the street, apparently trying to keep the feds from leaving. Around 9:30, it gets even worse.

The mace comes out around 11:30. as the MRAPs leave the area.

This was in defense of human traffickers.

For all the sturm und drang, it doesn’t appear that anyone involved in attacking the feds or cops got arrested for obstructing justice.

The reactions from DFLers were…predictable.

Putative mayoral front-runner Omar Fateh:

Senator Fateh: under “no” circumstances?

Like , not even with active human trafficking?

Weird.

Councilman Chavez – who is the primary evidence not only of Berg’s 21st Law, but of the “Cano Corollary” to the 21st Law, named after the loony-left councilwoman he replaced because she was too moderate for the local DFL – sounded off. As usual:

Remember – this is against an investigation of human trafficking (not to mention drugs and latin gangs).

The Police Union responded:

It’s not like Jacob Frey – who, let’s not forget, was the “law and order’ alternative to Ray Dehn in 2017 – is going to be much better.  Minneapolis cops should have been hauling everyone who pushed the cops downtown.  It was pure incitement – and a sign of a department that gets no support from its prosecutor.

Because they don’t:

Minneapolis is at a crossroads:  civilization, prosperity and sanity, vs. decay, anarchy and Lord of the Flies.

Maybe time to invite mayor Frye and county attorney moriarty on your show to ask them why they believe Minneapolis should be a sanctuary city for human traffickers.

And who else should find sanctuary in Minneapolis… Islamic terrorists, drug dealers, escaped convicts, child molesters, female genital mutilators… And why?

I think that crossroad is in the rear-view mirror.

It’s too late for Mpls. Good people should get out, because it’s going to burn.

A buddy noted the Covid Cultists in the video are still wearing their Essential Life Saving Masks (ELSM) as ordained by Saint Fauci. Must be very devout.

That, or they are trying to conceal their identity while committing crimes, which was the reason we had the no-mask rule before The Most Deadly Virus Ever.

Which makes me wonder: anybody here know anything about facial recognition technology? Can we identify the perps despite their ELSMs? And maybe cross reference with social media and directories to find name and address which we could post online? Not to “doxx” or intimidate, of course not. Simply to give credit where due. If law enforcement chooses to use the information to prosecute, well, we already knew they were Nazis. Nothing we can do about that.

What about congratulatory mailers to the neighbors? “Just wanted you to know that your neighbor bravely defended sex traffickers from arrest by law enforcement. You must be so proud of them. Enclosed is a photo suitable for autographs.”

    Big,
Those mailers should also point out the 700 plus pounds of fentanyl that was seized. That’s enough to kill most of the city and virtually all of the people in that neighborhood.

Bigman: Don’t you realize by now that there is no single crime possible on the face of the earth worse than being DJT? Rape, drug dealing, multiple murders of people or even kittens. None of those are worse than being Donald J ORANGE FASCIST FELON Trump (or supporting him, which is just as bad, if not worse).

One would figure that those who endorse unfettered immigration might listen to the stories of those who come across the border and learn the hard way that part of the price for getting guided through the desert is the virtue of attractive women in the party (including those under 18), as well as carrying the drugs across the border that are killing 100,000 Americans each year.

As the uncle of one of those killed by fentanyl, fuck you, Minneapolis progressives.

I forgot to include cross-dressers, like the guy who won the Women’s Olympic Boxing medal, and now the guy who pitched a shut-out to win the Minnesota Girls Fast-pitch Softball Championships.

Another reason I’m glad I left Minnesota for North Carolina. Wait, one more: we sent our 18 year old back to he could watch his buddies graduate from Burnsville High School. And just like that, fights broke out and shots fired afterwards. No injuries reported, but that’s because most gang bangers couldn’t hit the inside of a barn if they stood there. But all bullets hit something eventually.

I am constantly admonished to follow the science. But it’s surprisingly hard to find.

I’d like to see someone graph low-income housing versus crime rates. Is there a statistical correlation?

I only ask because some of my right-wing kook friends have this insane belief that when low-crime, affluent, white communities like Wayzata or Burnsville begin to build low-income housing, it attracts high-crime, poor, minority tenants.

If that were true, there ought to be a statistical correlation between low-income apartments and crime rates and a rise in crime as more low-income apartments are built.

Is there? It’s surprisingly hard to find the science.

Actual text of the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people PEACEABLY to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

All those “mostly peaceful” riot memes? That’s why they used that word. Because in order to have a First Amendment right, you must be peacefully demonstrating. Violent demonstrations are not protected.

Next step, call out the National Guard to protect federal agents enforcing federal law. Then agents provocateur in the crowd shoot at the Guardsmen, whereupon the Guard fires back, killing students and Neil Young writes another song about Four Dead in Ojai.

I’d love to see someone in the Trump administration put together a video montage of Peaceful Protest versus Not Peaceful Protest and take it on Sunday morning talk shows. “Some of these things are not like the others. Can you spot the difference?”

Martin Luther King march – peaceful. Rodney King riot – not peaceful. Gandhi sit-in – peaceful. LA riot – not peaceful. See the difference? See why some are protected “free speech” and some are not? See why some require the National Guard while others do not?

Of course, it’s a matter of degree. Of course, there will be some knot-heads in every crowd. Of course, things can get out of control. But watch the demonstration from start to finish, the way cops must as they stand on the sidelines, and you can distinguish the peaceful protesters from the violent criminals. The middle aged White women wearing ELCA haircuts carrying pre-printed signs and chanting in unison, are not the same as the guys throwing firebombs at cops. Ignore the AWFLs, arrest the criminals.

Or shoot them, I’m good either way. As my favorite law enforcement officer, Barney Fife, used to say, “We’ve got to nip it in the bud!”
