How It Started

NPR’s token Aztlani, Maria Hinojosa, yelling “SLAY, QUEEN GIRLBOSS!” as Mexico’s socialist female president briefly flexed on Trump’s border plans:

How it’s going:

Yep. The whole world witnessed it:

Where will Maria Hinojosa go after Congress defunds the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the parent of NPR and PBS?

Or better stated, where will she land after failing up?

Probably the NYT or heaven forbid a step down to the Washington Post.

Every time I see these public ‘negotiations’, I think of the movie Patton. It’s the scene where George C Scott is looking through his binoculars over the battlefield as his forces are routing the Germans in North Africa. He says “Rommel…you magnificent bastard, I read your book”.

It’s like nobody has ever heard of or read Sideshow Donald’s “Art of the Deal”.

Apart from getting MX to cooperate (aka do what he wants), I think my favorite part of this is how congenial and diplomatic Trump is towards Sheinbaum.

Ms Hinojosa’s comments match those I read from invariably leftwing Danish media about this. DemoCommies are retreating (even deeper?) into their fantasy worlds with heroes and heroines and monsters to be defeated and quests to be attempted. Kinda sad really. Who was it that recently said the left is going to have a huge mental breakdown in 2025?

By the way, apropos nothing at all, there’s a MX brand of salsa called Maga.
