The Proverbial Trunk Full Of Ballots
By Mitch Berg
Over the weekend, a courier hauling boxes of ballots was observed leaving his trunk open for about ten minutes as he ran another errand.
The driver got fired – but the story hasn’t quite gone away yet.
Secretary of State Simon rained down his anger…
…on the courier.
But it turns out, the bonehead was anyone who believed Steve Simon when he said Minnesota had the bestest, mostest sucurest election system in the universe.
This is a violation of the law that Simon is supposed to enforce:
So I don’t know about you, but I get the impression that there’s more than one “bonehead” involved.

Steve Simon is a perennial culprit in making people lose trust in our election system. Unfortunately, getting people that don’t already care and distrust Sec. Simon is a very difficult task. My own family completely brushes off the issue when I explain that Simon is currently refusing to comply with at least 3 Court orders that he doesn’t like while simultaneously citing Court Orders for why he made changes to election procedure that the MN Legislature rejected in 2020.

“Dammit, somebody might have tried to steal the election we’re already stealing! Heads are going to roll – unless this particular head checks enough diversity boxes for immunity.”

Question for all concerned: why should something like this not be treated as equivalent to a cash in transit?
Two armed security guards and a driver. And stand well clear of the whole thing.
