Powerline suggests it’s a deep-fake video intended to make Walz look petty and rude. I suppose they would consider that bad form, because although Walz IS petty and rude, good form dictates that it would be better to lose the election with dignity than to risk having Trump win by competing on Democrats’ level. For some people, Never-Trump is visceral and difficult to overcome. Their support for his candidacy is tepid, late, and fragile. They will be relieved when he loses because it will vindicate them by proving he was a terrible candidate, as they said all along.
I may be mistaken. It may not be an attitude, but a lifestyle. If one were to excoriate one’s own candidate’s every misstep, excuse one’s opponent’s every outrage, and thereby help one’s own candidate lose gracefully, then one could spend the next four years fundraising on promises to fight harder next time. I suppose that’s one way to spend one’s retirement. Not really to my taste.

You want something to object to with Walz, let’s keep with his support of Communism. Killing over 100 million people trumps flipping someone off any day, at least as far as I’m concerned.

I’m no fan of Walz. He doesn’t need help proving how petty and insincere he is. While I’m no expert in video manipulation, note how his hand is not in the traditional supinated position to flip the bird.

Personally I think that flipping the bird to some hecklers is not the scandal it’s being played up to be – people do it everyday for the smallest of slights. My problem with Wally is his policies.
As to this discussion of the verity of the video, I will state that hardly anyone on the DemoCommie side ever sows doubt nor admits to a lie unless it was long past anyone caring about it. But I find it darkly amusing that poking holes in right-wing memes and tropes by right-wingers is considered very important for some reason. Mr Jones’ rant lives.
