Shot in the Dark

Tim Crow

Governor Walz takes us back to the glory days of “Separate but Equal”:

But of course there’s a reason for this:

Libraries have got to be woke, you see:

Nicole Cooke, a professor of library and information science at the University of South Carolina, is booked as a keynote speaker for the event, according to an agenda obtained by the DCNF.

Cooke has argued that it is “tantamount to malpractice” to allow students to enter the workforce without first being educated on diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice. In 2017, she received a grant to study “racial microaggressions in libraries,” according to a press release.

The professor has a long history of giving presentations on the importance of racial justice and diversity when managing libraries, according to her personal website. In 2020, she created an “anti-racism resources for all ages” project which includes a number of materials intended to introduce children to the topic.

One of the goals is to make libraries “more inclusive”. One would think inviting all those bigoted (checks notes) librarians would be pretty vital, if that’s the goal.

Wouldn’t one?

Yet another black woman larping as a university professor in a phony area of expertise working to ruin something great about America (public libraries).

Did Matt Walsh’s Am I A Racist movie include this woman or are there just so many grifters working the “whites are racists” scam that it would be impossible to include them all?

It might be fun for some organization to announce a Whites Only conference on racial problems in America, BIPOC conference to be held separately, at a later date in a different location, to make sure BIPOC attendees feel safe and comfortable. Separate But Equal. Nobody could complain about that, surely?

One of the many blessings of DEI education. You know, [i]n case you’re wondering why the response to Hurricane Helene has been a disaster… Fema’s goal 1 is to instill equity as a foundation of emergency management

Here’s something you don’t see every day. The governor of a state hit by a hurricane asked FEMA to redirect aid to another state, because North Carolina needs it worse than Florida does!

Even better, DeSantis put together a multi-state effort to help with disaster relief, since Floridians know how to do it and the feds apparently don’t. Check out “Operation Blue Ridge” for details.

I am SO glad he’s not busy running for President right now. That man is exactly where he needs to be.

I agree with keeping DeSantis where he is (and not only because I now have property in FL ;-). If Trump is elected and if he takes the reins in Jan 2025 and if he cleans up our electoral procedures (and maybe makes a few journalist “sad” – pour encourager les autres), DeSantis, who clearly campaigns less well than Trump, can maybe make a run based on his excellent policy achievements and, to the relief of all our Nice Republicans allies, no mean tweets.

Yup! DeSantis even sent some of his National Guard members and appropriate equipment to North Carolina.

boss, I believe he told FEMA to focus on the Carolinas because FL is managing.
