Re: Your Kids
DFL comms guy Ryan Faircloth [1] had himself a chuckle in the lobby of the GOP convention last Friday:
The sign, naturally, is a just a tad tongue-in-cheek.
But the MNDFL – the party of “comedians” who aren’t funny and people with no sense of humor, to sa nothing of the party of Judd Hoff and Nicole Mitchell – forgot about Judd Hoff, Nicole Mitchell and “Anti”-Fa long enough to post this:
Now, let’s focus on the sign.
DFLer parents: how about teaching your kids that hitting people with skateboards and shooting golf balls and frozen water bottles from slingshots isn’t actually political speech?
That is all.
[1] CORRECTION: Ryan Faircloth appears to be a reporter for the Strib, not a DFL comms guy.
We regret the error.

I was thrilled that Royce White received the MNGOP endorsement to kick Senator Vanilla Fluff’s butt out of her seat! So much so, I just donated to his campaign.
If you haven’t heard his platform, you need to. This guy is the real deal.

Forget writers like Russell Kirk, Edmund Burke, or Thomas Hobbes. Forget speakers like Buckley, Goldwater or Reagan. Snarky tweets, that’s where it’s at. That’s what pass for deep and penetrating philosopical commentary nowadays.

What does this say about the intelligence of Ryan Faircloth’s intended audience?

Greg,
I noted in a correction that Faircloth isn’t a DFL comms guy, but in fact a Strib reporter.
Your observation is still perfectly valid.

A distinction without a difference.
Wait a minute, there might be a difference, which job title pays more?
a) DFL pr flak working for the DFL.
b) DFL pr flak working for the Strib.

Well, until the Secret Service kicked everyone out, conducted a security sweep, and took over security during Trump’s visit, I’d bet that at least 25% of all attendees were carrying, and those that were practice more often than the average cop that does just enough to pass their requalification tests.
Republicans know that St. Paul and Ramsey County aren’t very interested in protecting Republican events from the likes of Macalester College Anti-fa jack wads.
