We Don’t Expect Much…

By Mitch Berg

…from our younger generation.

Almost 80 years ago, this was what a group of 18-22 year olds did:

Today?

Well, this may be the modern generation’s analog:

A bunch of guys (lefties call them “frat boys” which I suspect means “any college student that doesn’t have blue hair or non-intuitive pronouns).

We don’t expect much – but by golly, someone delivered!

A GoFundMe was set up for these men. It’s supposedly at about $300,000. Maybe they can pay off their student loans and still have enough left over for a keg or two.

    Try to guess….

How many of these guys are majoring in something with the word “studies” in the title?

While there is no comparison between raising the US flag on Mt. Suribachi and the boys of Pi Kapa Phi fraternity going full patriot in re-raising the flag at UNC Chapel Hill campus after the flag had been brought down more than once by “mostly peaceful protesters” (scumbags). I am proud these young folks stepped up in the face of a belligerent gang of thugs. I pray we’ll see more of this catching on around the country. I had an identical feeling looking at the “frat boys” guarding the flag. Now that I live in NC I appreciate it all the more. Plenty of woke nonsense circulates in the Triangle but these kids are bucking the trend.

Re your comment about woke nonsense in the Triangle, I totally understand.

I have two friends that live there, one in Raleigh and one in Charlotte. They have been there for many years and have noted that are the Triangle became a technology hub, it became more left wing, mainly due to the numbers of blue staters that moved there for jobs in that industry.
