Among the “setter projects” that Americans established as we (yes) conquered the North American continent, along with representative democracy, were universities.
And I’m thinking that those are among the “settler projects”…
…that actually need to be dismantled.
Or at least, it’s time for an actual honest-to-god McCarthy-style purge of Universities.

Every tribe of every people in history has eventually grown to the point they needed larger territory and historically, that meant taking it from somebody else who already had it. The winners held title to the land by right of conquest. The losers were either exterminated outright or held as prisoners/slaves. Don’t believe me? The Old Testament is a chronicle of one people’s wars, which remain ongoing to this day in Gaza.
Tribal wars included, yes, Ms. Yazzie’s tribe, the Navajo, who fought the Apache and Pueblo. The “indigenous” people of North America discovered the English, Spanish, and French explorers and missionaries weren’t innocent angels, they were simply the latest victors in the most recent tribal wars.
It’s not my fault that Ms. Yazzie’s ancestors were crappy fighters who lost their lands to more competent warriors. She’s just lucky her ancestors were left alive for her to be born into a Christian nation where White people not only abolished tribal warfare and slavery, they actually pay her to spout her ridiculous nonsense. A little gratitude might be in order.

I really don’t think we need to dismantle universities, but we should “deconstruct and dismantle” administrators down to 1950s levels (well over a 90% reduction), eliminate any “studies” department, and reduce the humanities by 95%. After that, we could discuss what further reforms and reductions might be needed as there will be considerable fat remaining in the system.
And Ms. Yazzie should be among the first in line.
