SCENE: Mitch BERG is sitting in a Chicago-style Viking restaurant in Richfield, perusing the menu. Devadip Ulysses PLOOBRADOR is escorted in and sits at a table next to BERG. PLOOBRADOR is a mystic prophet and self-described wise man who also doubles as a UPS and Doordash driver.
BERG: Mr. Ploobrador.
PLOOBRADOR: Mr. Berg. So what’s been keeping you busy?
BERG: The usual, Collapse of civil society, mostly.
PLOOBRADOR: The tribalism is truly suffocating.
BERG: Yeah, but it goes beyond that. As Dennis Prager notes, in 1861, when the US split into two nations, and provided you leave out slavery and some of the erosions of federalism that’s happened by that point, they were virtual mirror images of each other, at least in terms of structure and process.
And there is just no way that if this nation split up today that’d be the case. If the US split into two nations, one would largely reflect the Constitution as it is, and the other would likely resemble the French Republic with a little dash of Scandinavian parliamentarianism.
PLOOBRADOR: You are not wrong.
BERG: And of course, the way around that is to renew our commitment to federalism, limited government and checks and balances.
But the GOP is killing those institutions with neglect, and the Democrats are killing them very deliberately.
PLOOBRADOR: I can not argue. Decline and collapse is something that requires a great deal of acquiescence.
BERG: Right. So I’m wondering – at this point, barring a serious “coming to Jesus” re federalism at some point, which seems improbable at best…
PLOOBRADOR: …agreed…
BERG: …that some sort of “National Divorce” is inevitable.
PLOOBRADOR: Which would be the most horrible of all things. It wouldn’t be like the American Civil War, with two sides lining up on opposite sides of the Mason Dixon line. It would be more like Bosnia in the ’90s, with ideological “ethnic” cleansing expelling or removing the “infidels” reds from blue territory and vice versa.
BERG: I keep hearing that from people, saying that massive, eliminationist bloodshed is inevitable. And I have to ask – why?
At the best, it’s a matter of choice. People have to choose to be violent. And as we’ve seen, Big Left has no problem getting violent when they think the ends justify the means.
PLOOBRADOR: Hmmmm.
BERG: And at worst? Well, the notion that populations are so very intermingled means there’s a certain amount of balance of terror involved; would Big Left actually go full-bore Rwanda on conservatives in San Francisco and Chicago while “blues” are stranded in Miami, Austin and Boise?
PLOOBRADOR: That seems like an odd thing to be pollyannaish about.
BERG: I know. I just think ruling out a national divorce on relatively peaceful, if far from “good” terms, is really premature.
PLOOBRADOR: Hm. Interesting.
(WAITER, dressed in a bearskin vest and a horned helmet, approaches the tables).
WAITER: Welcome to Skraeliings Viking Restaurant. Can I take your order
BERG: I’ll have the Chicago Dog with a side of onion rings.
WAITER: Very good. And you, sir?
PLOOBRADOR: Make me one with everything.
(WAITER looks at both BERG and PLOOBRADOR, confused).
BERG: I think he’s talking about a hot dog .
(WAITER and PLOOBRADOR both nod).

Freedom is not free. And when freedom is taken away the only way to get it back is with the pointy end of the stick. With justice already been applied differently at all levels, any notion of “equal justice for all” and “equality” had been killed and buried. Constitution is no more. Divorce is inevitable. While blues will indeed revel in social and racial cleansing, the reds, accolytes of the Constitution, will revert to “good ol’ days” expecting everyone, even those who do not agree with them to follow the law or suffer the consequences. But at this point, divorce is inevitable, we are reaching a boiling point with DOJ overreach.

Sell everything and leave because the next day it all escheats to the state to be redistributed fairly to more deserving persons
A year is plenty of time to sell your house, quit your job, find a place to live in a trailer park in a red state, and move your family to safety. Get on it.

We don’t need an El Caudillo, jdm. 500 pissed off guys spontaneously popping off across the country in coordination would quickly gain momentum. People are fed up.
It’s estimated the Red Army that overthrew the Tsar was no more than 3% of the population, and that included foreign mercenaries. Today, with the internet, I’d guess a successful balkanization of Weimerica would take no more than 1-2% of the population.
It took far less than that to steal the 2020 election. It’s a matter of commitment and resources.

Spain, Bosnia, Rwanda, Ireland, Argentina, and – per my experience and study last year – Finland. Anyone who is advocating civil war and imagines it is two armies consulting their day-planners for a time to meet while observing the Geneva Convention and the Marquis of Queensbury rules does not understand “civil” war.
It’s not North/South. It’s block by block, even house by house in some neighborhoods. Any night you can and your family can be dragged from your house and butchered by you neighbors, or the thugs called in by your neighbors because of something someone thought they overheard you say in the grocery store. It will be bloody, brutal, and remorseless. And once the war is “over”, disunity and reprisals will go on for another generation at least.
My thinking is that Minnesota is as lost a the Third Precinct, and there’s little ground left to defend. I’ll pull back and retrench across some border where I hope I can outlive the inevitable decline.

A careful reading of the indictment suggests that the prosecution will present eyewitness testimony to each and every fact alleged in what looks like a tight and unbreakable chain of facts. This will be a straightforward narrative retold by eyewitness live testimony, not grainy video of boxes moving around at night. Not one co-conspirator was a White House staffer while several staffers were named by position in the text as having witnessed key events. The prosecution will present compelling testimony from Trump’s closest associates; their credibility will be near-irrefutable. (It looks like “everyone” flipped; the prosecution is not going to lack eyewitness testimony to the facts alleged.)
The prosecution has mastery of both facts and law here. Trump has little to refute either aspect of the case coming against him. Trump is throwing cheap public relations stuff at a brick wall of facts. Lies that work for Putin in Moscow are unlikely to work for Trump in Washington; two completely different arenas.
One should go review the ending of the movie “Billy Budd.” The rule of law must prevail or the ship of state is lost. Someone is about to get hoisted to the yardarm.

First and most important, they’ll consider “how will this effect my pension?” That may motivate them to side with the convening authorities.
But their morale is already in the tank, and
they’ll look over, see all the women and trannies and diversity hires and think “Will xe run and leave me stranded?”
It’s a crap shoot. But really, the only thing the cops have as an advantage is coordinated control, comms and urban armor. Everyone has drones, I know civilians who have armor, too. Runs perfectly, but its old and can’t easily be repaired.
If SHTF, I think it would be small groups engaging in stick and move tactics. No one is going to stand and fight it out unless there is no escape.
In any case, it’s gonna be a fucking mess that doesn’t have to happen.

Blade, I understand your analysis. My fear of participating in the revolution is not the neighbors, it’s the cops. The neighbors are people like The Emery Collective, sitting in their basements pounding the keyboard. If they own firearms at all, they own 30-30 deer rifles and maybe a .22 pistol. They are unlikely to come looking for me and they’re no real threat if they do.
The bigger fear is having to shoot a bunch of Descendants of Nubian Princes looting and burning in my neighborhood. If the cops respond at all, they won’t do anything against The Priviliged Few, they’ll go after the Old Fat White guy because he’s easy pickings. So to protect my family, I need to get rid of the cops so I can get rid of the Zulus.
It’s a matter of timing. You never want to be the first guy to charge the barricade – he always gets shot – better to be the 100th guy bringing his two friends to help overthrow The Man. Just be sure the cops have been cleaned out before you go.
That’s the question – how to make sure the cops understand we no longer believe they’re are the solution, we see them as part of the problem – so the cops fade back to let the Citizens Vigilance Committee administer some instant justice?
