Now that 16 years have passed, how did the kids turn out? The best decision we made was to homeschool our two K through 12. It was an excellent experience for them and us and, academically, they both finished grad school.
One of our neighbors’ elementary aged children were changed to a charter school last year because of big problems with the local public school. It’s very discouraging hearing accounts of the “machine” making mountains out of mole hills.
