Illegitimate!!!

Representative Alicia Kozlowski – one of the DFL‘s leading public intellectuals and thought leaders – had this to say over the weekend about illegal immigration

So, apparently, Rep. Kozlowski‘s (and the DFL‘s) new taxes and gun control laws can be ignored, then?

For that matter, given that by her logic, the legislature itself is illegitimate, she shouldn’t actually have a position of any authority at all?

Urban Progressive Privilege means never having to really rationalize your only rationality.

  1. Representative Alicia Kozlowski = another reason to repeal the 19th amendment.

  2. So who had the land before it was stolen? And how did they get it?
I mean, you can go a lot of ways with this. What is now Minnesota was legally purchased from France by the United States. The thirteen original colonies were stolen by the United States from Great Britain.
The truth is that Kozlowski hates the United States, its people and its culture, and wants to deny the right of the United States to exist. That at least is a sincere desire of her heart. But she can’t say that, so instead she natters on about stolen land.

  3. Minnesota is stolen land? The DFL controls all three branches of government. Why don’t they give it back?

  4. She has no business defining what’s illegal and stolen or not. She claims to be Ojibwe. From Infogalactic:
The first historical mention of the Ojibwe occurs in the French Jesuit Relation of 1640, a report by the missionary priests to their superiors in France. Through their friendship with the French traders (coureurs des bois and voyageurs), the Ojibwe gained guns, began to use European goods, and began to dominate their traditional enemies, the Lakota and Fox to their west and south. They drove the Sioux from the Upper Mississippi region to the area of the present-day Dakotas, and forced the Fox down from northern Wisconsin. […]

By the end of the 18th century, the Ojibwe controlled nearly all of present-day Michigan, northern Wisconsin, and Minnesota, including most of the Red River area. They also controlled the entire northern shores of lakes Huron and Superior on the Canadian side and extending westward to the Turtle Mountains of North Dakota. In the latter area, the French Canadians called them Ojibwe or Saulteaux.

The Obibwe are not even from here and they conquered the “original” tribes with the help of white men and savvy trading policies.

She also claims to be “Latine”, the newest made-up Spanish word for a genderless Hispanic. First of all, most native Spanish speakers find this attack on their language by left-wing gringos (with Slavic surnames no less) to be really annoying. It should, however, also be mentioned that the Spanish were literally everything that left-wing gringos attack Americans for being – and much more. But, as we’ve seen recently, losing wars and territory gives the losers virtue. The Spanish speaking peoples lost to the English, the French, and Americans which connotes a very high level of virtue. High enough that a virtue signaling racist wants to be one.

    She’s so full of it.

  5. This is a perfect opportunity for the DFL to score points with their core constituencies . The land was stolen from the Indians, which was wrong and unfair. The only legitimate way the state acquires land is through eminent domain. The state government should condemn the whole state, pay fair market value to the Indians for all the land we are taking, and then we’ll have good title. Problem solved.

And the only reason Black people don’t get reparations for the land we stole from them, is they were slaves and weren’t allowed to own any land. So we’ll have to pay them the fair market value of all the land they would have bought, had they been allowed to buy it.

What do you think, a hundred trillion cover it?

  6. The The Hart-Celler Immigration Act finished what the 19th Amendment started.

  7. What no one wants to admit is that if you commit to war of conquest, the best thing is to wipe out the enemy completely, branch and root. Then there will be no “conquered minority” to remain bothersome.

  8. Discuss the disaster that has occurred due to the Hart-Celler Immigration Act from the perspective of a US citizen who’s town is being overrun with South American citizens illegally crossing the border.

    ChatGPT:

From the perspective of a beleaguered U.S. citizen witnessing the overwhelming number of South American citizens illegally crossing the border, the Hart-Celler Immigration Act is seen as a contributing factor to the current situation. This perspective argues that the Act’s provisions have led to several negative consequences:

Inadequate border security: Critics of the Hart-Celler Act argue that it weakened border security measures. By shifting the immigration system’s focus away from national origins and prioritizing family reunification and occupational preferences, the Act is seen as having opened up avenues for illegal immigration. They argue that the Act’s emphasis on family reunification encouraged individuals to enter the country unlawfully in order to join family members who were already living in the United States.

Strain on resources and public services: The influx of unauthorized immigrants is placing an overwhelming burden on local communities and public services. The increased population resulting from illegal immigration puts pressure on schools, hospitals, housing, and social welfare programs. These resources, which are already stretched thin, are further depleted due to the unauthorized population’s needs.

Economic concerns: The Hart-Celler Act’s emphasis on occupational preferences has resulted in an influx of low-skilled immigrants who compete with American workers for jobs. This has led to wage depression and increased unemployment rates among certain segments of the population. Additionally, the presence of unauthorized immigrants who work for lower wages is contributing to the exploitation of workers and undermining labor standards.

Social and cultural impact: The large-scale influx of unauthorized immigrants, primarily from South America, is a challenge to social cohesion and national identity. Rapid demographic changes brought about by illegal immigration hinder the assimilation process, strain social cohesion, and create cultural tensions within communities.

  9. If the Indians had an effective INS, they wouldn’t have lost “their” land. But they didn’t. We should learn from them.

  10. You’re right golfdoc. I bring that up every time some nitwit waves the “stolen land” canard.

They’re too fucking stupid to realize they’re killing their own argument.

  11. Bigman, Biden’s handlers couldn’t send all that cash and hardware to the Uke mob if Congress wasn’t on board. Kevin McCarthy & Mitch McConnell are definitely on board. Now that Putin has taken Bakhmut, just watch the river of cash flow.
