The only thing that can bring him down is making derogatory remarks about members of a perceived victim class. That’s how HennCo attorney Mike Freeman lost his job, it had nothing to do with eccentric ideas about reducing street crime (set criminals free, throw cops in jail).
There is nothing wrong with rule by elites, elites reach the top, that’s why we call them elites. The problem comes when your elites have captured the system so that “elite” becomes a meaningless term, they are just a self-perpetuating oligarchy. They are aristocrats is the meaning given by the bawdy joke, not in the sense that they are a breed apart, rigorously trained to govern with integrity and selflessness.

The current value of all the bit coin in the world is $328.1 billion $. It would be kind of a good investment to buy it all for $25 & flip it. Buffet would make a profit of 13 billion percent.

Bitcoins are mined with the electricity used to power computers.
The source of the power don’t matter, the bit coins produced with Icelandic geothermal power are worth exactly the same as bit coins produced with power produced from Chinese dirty coal burning power plants.
The people who sell carbon credits don’t care where your money comes from.
Seems like a cynical person could do a bit of triaging, here. You know, burn 10 tens of carbon to produce enough bit coin to buy 10 tons worth of carbon credits at a discount, so you make a profit. You actually increase the amount of atmospheric CO2 and you also get to claim credit for reducing atmospheric CO2!
