So, the quid pro quo would be for a state where abortion is illegal to reach across state lines as well. If you perform an abortion in another state where it is legal, and you enter the jurisdiction of a state where it is illegal, you can be arrested and prosecuted.
I believe that there is precedence in this for sex trafficking and underage sex laws.
It would have been great if Walz had used, you know, the legislature to debate and hammer out some compromise.
But the DFL is not a party that has faith in democracy. One man rule is more their style.
