Chanting Points Memo: Giants In The Associates Washroom
By Mitch Berg
DFLers are of the opinion that Keith Ellison is a legal giant compared to challenger Jiim Schultz.
Here’s an example from a repeat Point Chanter:
The truth is, Ellison was a very junior litigator for three whole years, before becoming a “community organizer”, non-profiteer and politician. Ellison was a very junior attorney, when he was an attorney at all. Schulz has vastly more experience – and when you’re talking becoming an attorney general as opposed to a courtroom practitioner, the type of law isn’t especially relevant.
And “he” didn’t prosecute Chauvin. Either, for the most part, did the Attorney General’s very thinly-staffed criminal division. The list of the prosecution team includes lots of free-lance Biglaw attorneys, lawyers from social justicelaw firms working “pro bono”, Henco prosecutors (apparently some of them do something other than write wrist-slapping pro forma plea agreements – who knew?) and pretty much everyone at the AGO who had ever closed a case against a traffic offender.
Schulz has actually practiced law his entire career, unlike life-long trough-diner Ellison.
Glad we could clear that up.

I can’t believe the guy who merely signed the papers to put together a team of lawyers to railroad Derek Chauvin for the murder of someone who was dying of a drug overdose while the whole world was watching is even considered qualified.

I can’t imagine that anything that Schultz would do “trans kids” would be worse than what they do to themselves.

See, the joke is that the groomers believe you need to castrate or remove the breasts of “trans kids” or they might engage in self-harm.

A lawyer of real skill would have taken a look at the Chauvin/Floyd case and wondered “what on earth is wrong that we cannot prosecute for excessive use of force here?” We can debate whether it was the drugs or the restraint that killed Floyd–a good friend of mine is a pathologist who just threw up his hands when told of the blood test results–but I don’t think it should be debateable that Chauvin was wrong to restrain Floyd five minutes after he went unconscious and two minutes after officers couldn’t find his pulse (and presumably after his bladder and bowels released for a final time).
Unfortunately, we don’t have a lawyer of even moderate skill in the AG’s office.

Ellison didn’t win a victory in the Chauvin case, he won a participation ribbon.

What drives me crazy is the DFL claiming Schultz isn’t qualified because he hasn’t prosecuted a case. Neither has Ellison. After being AG for 3 1/2 years he still doesn’t have any prosecution experience – except vicariously!
Secondly, the criminal division at the AG’s office has the lowest staffing. The majority of cases the AG deals with are regulatory ones. Schultz has way more experience with regulators already than Ellison could accumulate in the rest of his working life!

It is easy to prosecute when result is pre-ordained, and verdict written before trial even started.

We can debate whether it was the drugs or the restraint that killed Floyd…
No, you can debate it with your hand puppet, Delenda. The original coroner’s report attributed the cause to acute Fentanyl poisoning; said he had enough to kill a horse in his system. He changed it due to pressure from crooked politicians, like Hakim, looking for a White scapegoat. No one, except the “MMA expert” (who was later arrested for assault) ever said the restraint caused Floyd’s demise.
Would Chauvin have filed a false report if it wasn’t recorded? Of course; he’s a cop. Lying is part of the cop job. But only a 90 IQ nimrod would look at that pathology and say “oh yeah, the cop did it”.
And why do you always have to embellish your narratives with facts not in evidence, Delenda? Why do you presume he crapped his pants on the street? Did you check? The “officers” never checked his pulse, the paramedics did when they got there. You don’t know shit, Delenda! 😂

Ha! Even more evidence that Hakim is useless as an AG! He should have been on top of this long ago.

I love delving into the feeds of the TwitR links Berg posts. Stacey Burns swims in a ocean of insanity. Her loser, drug addicted brother was insane (did the world a favor and bumped himself off); she’s insane and she’s proud of it. Look at her profile picture; it literally looks like Renfield peering out of a padded cell..
I’m also amazed at how adept leftist thots are with the 4 letter epithet. I use profanity often in comments (although I rarely use them when speaking), but boys, I can’t compete with the flow of sewage that pours out of the gobs of those xymen.

Hoss, that gang is a “black Owned Business”(tm), and migrants(tm), to boot. You gotta tread lightly there.

Either that,, Dullee, or all of the early reports of Floyd’s death did indeed note that the officers had not been able to find a pulse for the final two minutes, and the release of urine and feces is a common occurrence at death.

Nice attempt to cherry pick your data, as you usually do, but sorry, the record states something else.
And of course, Putin delenda est. May a seemingly adoring fan of his put some polonium in his borscht–enough to kill him, but not enough to do it quickly.

“The early reports”…lol. OK Delenda. You go with that. Fuck the later accounts and the sworn testimony.
How about this: “The autopsy revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease.”
This “early report” merely hinted at the “potential” presence of enough Fentanyl in his blood to kill a horse, although it was clearly stated in the autopsy they had on their hands.
“The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.”
“Being restrained by the police” = the effects of hysterical delerium…as taught by the MPD, referenced by Chauvin at the scene, and testified to by multiple psychologists.
the release of urine and feces is a common occurrence at death.
Occasionally, not commonly. And so, you naturally assumed it happened here, without any corroborating evidence or testimony, just to put your ignorance on display. Let me ask you Delenda; those cops were right on top of Fentanyl Floyd. If he shit his pants, you don’t think they’d have reacted?
No; you didn’t think about that, because…think; problem.

Blade.
I’ve owned a mid 70s model McCulloch since 1980. Still starts on 1st or 2nd pull every time.

Blade, given that the recording of the interaction shows that they didn’t really react to the fact that the guy had passed out, I’m guessing that their response to obvious signs of death (like loss of pulse, voiding of bladder, etc..) also would be deficient. In fact, that’s precisely what the recording states–they lost his pulse and didn’t change course until the paramedics arrived.
And yes, you’re all about the “sworn testimony”, until (e.g. coroner’s sworn testimony) it contradicts your narrative. If you want to see someone who doesn’t know from Shinola, shave.
