  1. Isn’t the best response to say that you want abortion to be “safe, legal, and rare”?

  2. Every time I read an article like this, I laugh at the continued stupidity of Minneapolis residents for still voting for DemoCommies. I laugh even harder, that one of the key architects of the mess that is the city, Lisa Bender, moved to Wayzata.

  3. Heck, the latest I’m hearing from various progressives is that the businesses aren’t doing enough to deter crime in their vicinity. Since we all know that businesses are just bottomless wells of cash owned by fat cats, or worse, secret fat cats, those businesses just need to do what the rich progressive neighborhoods are doing and hiring more security.

  4. If you were smart, you’d be getting into the fentanyl and catalytic converter business. It’s the only growth industry in MN, right now, and plus, concealed carry comes with the job!

  5. Conservatives should welcome conversations about how legal abortion should be. The Democrat position — abortion on demand up to the moment of birth — is extreme and nearly as unpopular as a complete ban.
On the R side you have diversity of opinion. There is no diversity of opinion on the D side.

  6. Completely OT so delete at will, but has to be said, somewhere, sometime. Please do not respond on this thread. Read the whole thing. How much do you want to bet this was globally coordinated by the malthusian cabal? Oh, and we were right all along.

  7. “AG opens civil probe into gas station, liquor store at crime-plagued north Minneapolis intersection”
“Companies or properties that turn a blind eye to … threats to public safety happening on their premises need to know we are watching and will act,” said Attorney General Keith Ellison.”

So, the problem is the owners turning a blind eye to the black cyclone swirling around their businesses. Has nothing to do with Hakim & Co’s get out of jail free campaign.

    I especially liked this part:

“The move by the Attorney General’s Office comes after exasperated community members converged outside the liquor store and temporarily shut it down last week, saying it is responsible for attracting a stream of dangerous people who are traumatizing the neighborhood.”

    LMAO…that *is* the fucking neighborhood!

I’ll say this for him; Hakim X is giving Soros every penny’s worth of his investment.

As for the businesses; no one is forcing them to stay. They can’t say they haven’t been warned. Close that shit down and let the community fan out in search of their cold 40’s, or bend over for Hakim.

  8. If I owned Merwyn Liquors, I’d call a press conference, and say

“We put a fence around out parking lot; we have hired security; we have cameras. None of this is happening in our store, and the police won’t come and clear out the parking lot. What Hakim X is saying to us is, liquor stores, and gas stations cannot be located anywhere near where blacks live. So…we’re going to re-locate to Prior Lake.”

  9. “Companies or properties that turn a blind eye to … threats to public safety happening on their premises need to know we are watching and will act,” said Attorney General Keith Ellison.”
This is Orwellian. The cops can’t keep the peace because of political decisions made by the police chiefs and mayors.
Any attempt by a merchant to act as a vigilante & protect their customers and property will result in a Derek Chauvin style prosecution from the state AG and County attorneys for violating the criminal’s “civil rights.”
There is a reason liberal governance of cities is called a “death spiral.” There is literally no way out.
Don’t forget that these suicidal policies are produced by the very highest of society’s elites, people born into comfortable, bourgeois families, educated as far as their native talent will take them.
Ellison’s father was a psychiatrist, his mother a social worker.
Chauvin’s father was CPA, his mother a housewife. Chauvin’s parents divorced when he was seven years old.
Chauvin is no one’s hero, obviously, but the media obscures and hides the differences in social class. Ellison was raised by parents who were middle class and sent all of their children to college.
Chauvin was raised working class. He dropped out of high school and joined the army. After discharge he worked food service and took criminology classes at a community college so that he could become a police officer.
Ellison went to prestigious private Catholic prep schools, then Wayne University, then UM law school.
So tell me who is in the oppressed class?
