The Many Faces Of Tim Walz

The governor is starting to make some Chuck Norris like noises about crime – an issue where polling says he’s very very weak:

But after two years where repeat offenders ravaged minority neighborhoods, his sentencing commission is still zephyr-soft on some of the hardest core criminals in the state:

After facing extensive public blowback last year, the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission on Thursday, July 21, again considered a proposal to reduce criminal sentences for those who commit a crime while in custody, on probation or supervised release.

And you can guess which ones going to get the media coverage, right?

  1. Compared to Glen Taylor, Liz Cheney is the Trumpyest Trump supporter of them all.

When is that scumbag going to get booted from the GOP?

Oh, that’s right, he is bringing the Strib back toward the center.

  2. The smart criminals should be coming back to Minnesota voluntarily, getting their nothing burger sentences, and moving on to other crimes before the legal system wises up. Make use of Double Jeopardy protections while the makings are good.

  3. Walz wants to work on a plan right now with Republicans on trying to solve crime. The Jensen answer is no, we want crime until the election so I have a chance to get elected. That alone is enough reason not to vote for Jensen. Jensen’s stand on abortion, his anti vaccine position (polio cases are coming back due to people like Jensen), his pushing the big lie on election security and his backing of Trump make him unelectable in Minnesota.

Trump will also be on the ballot alongside GOP candidates. Republican candidates across the nation have ensured this by taking the side of a former president who stole nuclear secrets over federal law enforcement, which they’re now demanding be defunded and or disbanded.

  4. So Emery is predicting a Walz win.
If I had a nickel for every time Emery went too far over his skis I’d be a very wealthy fellow.

  5. Alas, MP, Walz will win – he will lie, cheat and count until he does. Who’s gonna stop him? MN is a CA-wannabee and look what happened with Gascon recall.

  6. completely off-topic, but priceless: The head of Poland’s central bank has claimed that Germany is eying up ways of seizing territory lost to Poland after the end of the Second World War. please do not reply and get back to your regular programming.

  7. Oh, I’m not predicting a Jensen win.
But you would think that after all of the commentariat got the 2016 election wildly wrong, they would stop making predictions based on common wisdom.
The elections are all messed up by mail in votes. You could find that you voted for a dead man or a person whose horrific scandal erupted a week before election day.
If an election was supposed to be a snapshot of the voters’ opinion on election day, it is now a blurry snapshot that is sometimes unresolvable.

  8. Point of order — when did Jensen come out against the polio vaccine? I’m surprised the Alliance for a Better Minnesota hadn’t informed me about this.

  9. The elections are all messed up now designed to be manipulated into an elicit libturd-mandated result by mail in votes.

There, fixed it for you, MP. If mail-in voting is so great, why is Bezos going all out to nullify it? What does he know that the rest of the unwashed do not?

  10. Perhaps Jensen could start promoting a polio vaccine campaign to help counter his Covid-19 anti-vaccine vaccine campaign.

  11. Astounding how many repeat offenders for GUN CRIMES are put through the revolving door.

  12. For centuries — literally for centuries — governments have been trying to find a alternative to prisons. Prisons traditionally fill three functions. They punish (aka provide justice), they rehabilitate, and they separate the criminal from potential victims.
Prisons are expensive. There is some satisfaction in seeing a criminal made to pay the price for his crimes, but from the POV of the modern state, punishment is the least supportable of its functions.
To get back to my original point, the current craze for keeping criminals OUT of prison isn’t new. It’s been done before, and failed before, for the same reason: some people are so bad that they need to be forcibly isolated to keep them from victimizing the innocent. Until Walz and Ellison and pretty much every metro area judge admit this, you are not going to see any improvement in the crime rate. At some point you have to put people in jail, even if those criminals belong to a “historically oppressed minority.”

  13. @ mr d — or Dr Jensen could help fund his campaign by hawking Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine at his State Fair booth …

  14. Poor little Emery. He just can’t bring himself to admit that, despite their own admissions, the whole WuFlu thing was a scam on the American people and Jensen called it out, from the start. Of course, like all lefties that are in the cult of FAUci, He also believes that the letter from the CDC that Jensen displayed, was not real. Meanwhile, FAUXci’s left hand bitch, Deborah Birx, admitted that they manipulated the data on a daily basis, overplayed the vaccine and that they knew it was INEFFECTIVE, but Dr. Emery knows better. The number of people murdered by Commandant Klink, for a false flag, should be referred for criminal charges.

  15. The thing is, every time Jensen opens his mouth he turns independents, young people and especially women into Walz voters. There are only so many people who can be swayed by hogwash and they don’t add up to a majority.

  16. “polio cases are coming back due to people like Jensen”

No, rat. Polio is being re-introduced to the US by the ocean of disease ridden, 3rd world migrants pouring into this country across the Southern border.
    https://www.sciencenews.org/blog/science-the-public/refugee-polio-scare-can-be-costly

    Same with bed bugs.

Bed bugs were nearly completely eradicated in the US, until large numbers of people arrived from 3rd world shitholes. Now they’re everywhere again.

    Same with tuberculosis.

This is the direct consequence of the degenerate’s campaign to destroy the US. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to learn these people are being deliberately exposed by the regime.

  17. “Prisons are expensive. ”

They’re expensive because lawyers have made them expensive. Lock a guy up all day, he’s got nothing to do but plan escapes, future crimes and run rackets among the other inmates.

The prison farm system cures all those problems.

Let the inmates grow their own food, tend livestock which can be sold to pay for staples not produced on site. After 8 hours in the fields, they won’t have enough energy to do anything but sleep.

It worked great, until leftist lawyers got involved and replaced the farms with Gladiator schools.

  18. Sorry, Emery, but as much as you’d like to believe that independents are voting for Commandant Klink, that is bullshit. Even Democrats are turning on him.

And, adding jobs, is not the same as filling jobs. This is just typical left wing manipulation and lies. If someone drops off of unemployment, because their benefits are exhausted, Dems count it as an added job.

  19. fake news unemployment is low cuz nobody is seeking work they’re laying around on welfare total employment still not recovered from walz illegal shutdown

  20. We’re talking about disease, so is the Strib:

“US offers extra monkeypox vaccine doses for gay pride events ”

Monkeypox is spreading exclusively through the sodomy community…along with 9 kids (so far) who all just happen to be in the care, custody and control of fags, and dogs…yes dogs; also owned by fags.

It’s buttsex, pedophillia and beastiality pox.

And how does the Pedo Joe administration respond? Vaccine, to keep the party going.

This “union of states” can’t dissolve fast enough.

  21. Berg’s censor doesn’t want us discussing diseases relegated to the anal community.

  22. (Oh, I see the problem)

  23. I guess I just like the idea of making life as miserable as possible for people that make life miserable.

  24. Hey, I’ll give Walz credit; he’s taking firm action on one criminal. Now let’s see about giving some trouble to the thousands of others he’s allowed to walk the streets by cutting police forces and making bail/parole easier. It’s not popular, but at some point, you really need to put violent people in jail. Hopefully his failure to put the heat on Murderapolis and easy release policies will get some press before November.
