The Real Election Fraud

One out of six Biden voters would have changed their votes, had they known about the Hunter Biden laptop story. That would’ve been more than enough to turn a close election into a landslide for Donald Trump.

It’s being noted that, two years later, the New York Times is finally covering the story.

But it was never “disinformation”, nosirreebob.

The idea that this is not the plan, to say nothing of “non-accidental,“ is impossible to the point of being a media unicorn descending from heaven.

We know this, because three weeks after the election, representatives from the New York Times and Washington Post news rooms (speaking in the open, on a national public radio program), declared their mission to be to go to change the walls” of the media, from “passing on the facts and telling the story“ to “denormalizing Donald Trump“.

Do people think there is no connection?

  1. Do you have any idea who sits on Boards everywhere? The sons, daughters, wives, brothers and sisters of the rich. It’s a sad game we see happen all over the place. It’s how the rich give jobs to relatives.

Boards also include those to influence people in power. It’s sad but it’s been going on forever. The fact that Hunter Biden has become the poster boy for this isn’t sparking a cleaning out of Boards by the GOP.

If they were so outraged at what is going on in Board rooms they would pass legislation to stop it, but they are not which proves my point.

  2. The problem isn’t that HB is a crook, it is that the media conspired to hide this information from the voters. They manufactured a mythical corruption story about Trump colluding with Putin, they hid a corruption story about candidate Biden.

  3. I don’t recall this level of scrutiny for other adult children of presidents who were not part of the government. Right wing cranks like woolly want HB to be their boogeyman and that’s fine — I mean, Don, Trump Jr. literally met with Russians in Trump Tower and Ivanka literally had trademark favors done for her by the Chinese government.

  4. The question for me is that if indeed one in six Biden voters didn’t know about that laptop, under what rock are they living? Do we really want these people voting? Let’s be honest; Fox covered it, and it’s the #1 news outlet in the country. There is a certain point where this level of ignorance becomes culpable.

  5. I have no “bogeyman.” This is only obliquely about Hunter Biden, as Mitch’s post made clear, yet which you missed completely, Emery.
Mitch’s post (and my comment on it) is about the media.
    Get a fucking clue. Jesus.

  6. Emery, if you don’t remember that level of scrutiny, you’ve evidently forgotten about Billy Carter (of the infamous “Billy Beer”), Reagan’s children, and more.

Yes, it’s common for the rich to hand out sinecures to the children of their friends. In businesses, that’s a matter for the owners–stockholders, boards of directors, and the like. In government, since we’re the stockholders as citizens, that means when Hunter Biden follows his dad around the world and gets millions of bucks from the friends of people Dad’s negoting with, it’s the business of citizens.

  7. E’s “whatabout” posts only emphasize the point that Mitch is making.

How do you know where Trump’s kids met people and who those people were? The media made a point of telling you about it immediately and constantly.

How do you know the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop are genuine? The Times admitted it, but not until AFTER the Administration, the Times, and the rest of the mainstream media lied about it for more than a year to keep voters in the dark to help Brandon get elected.

It’s not what they’re lying about that matters, it’s that they’re lying at all.

  8. Let me know when Hunter Biden is serving as a special assistant to the President.

Or when Hunter Biden lives in the White House.

Or when Hunter Biden uses the US Government to further his own interests.

Or when Hunter Biden serves as an official representative of the President of the United States.

Or when Hunter Biden gets paid by the Biden campaign for a regular job and for consulting work.

Or when Hunter Biden uses his spouse to leverage other governments, in an officially capacity, to benefit himself.

Or when Hunter Biden repeatedly violates the Hatch Act.

Now, if he were appointed to a political position, especially one in which he was astonishingly unqualified, through nepotism—well, that would be a different story.

  9. “Or when Hunter Biden uses the US Government to further his own interests.”

Well, he sort-of did. He accepted an $80,000/month no-show job on the board of a company located in country for which his daddy held the foreign-aid purse strings. And yes, Hunter did have to pay The Big Guy his 10% off the top so the money didn’t go entirely to further Hunter’s own interests, a chunk of it went to further Lesko Brandon’s interests, that’s true. But a lot of it did.

And that’s the point. Corruption still matters to voters, who are now pissed the media lied to them about it until after the knowledge no longer mattered.

  10. Lol, Emery still thinks that this is about Hunter Biden and not the lying New York Times, which still insists that it reports the truth “without fear or favor.”
Remember the long list of “former intelligence officials” who signed a letter saying that the laptop was a fraud manufactured by . . . wait for it . . . the Russians?
My God it is amazing that we won the cold war with this collection of half wits in charge of US intelligence.

  11. Big countries, some of them allied with the US, routinely develop dossiers on American presidents, and their friends and family. The purpose is not always wicked, you just want to know as much about the American President as you can, so you can gain more insight on what and who influences his decision making process. Our intelligence services do the same with other world leaders.
At one time I believed that the Russian’s intelligence on Trump was the origin of the “Steele dossier,” but it turns out that its source was actually a Hillary campaign staffer using a Russian ex-pat as a cut out, Chuck Dolan, aka “PR Executive-1”.
Dolan is the unnamed “Public Relations consultant” in the mostly even-handed NPR story about the scandal: https://www.npr.org/2021/11/12/1055030223/the-fbi-arrests-a-key-contributor-to-efforts-trying-to-link-trump-with-russia
But that’s neither here nor there. Imagine the dossier the Russians (and the Chinese) have on Joe Biden. Russia probably has a team of agents working full time on Joe Biden’s dossier.

  12. Let’s be clear about what happened to the Hunter Biden laptop story and the kind of behavior by the media that Emery is okaying.
The excuse that they NY Times, FB, and Twitter used when they suppressed the Hunter Biden Laptop story is that a collection of former intelligence officials signed a letter saying that the laptop story was a Russian fraud.
This was a lie. The Hunter Biden laptop was not a Russian fraud. It was and is real, and it is likely evidence of influence peddling by Hunter Biden.
So the NY Times, FB, Twitter, et al., are okay with former US intelligence officials dictating the stories they may cover during an election.

  13. ^ Gotcha going didn’t I 😉
Hunter Biden was always a corruption problem, not a story to be swept under the rug. I said it at the time, will say it again now. You can’t only call out Trump’s corruption and ignore this.

  14. 👆 No dickhead, you didn’t get anyone going for anything. MP just eloquently made an ass of you, again.

Me? I don’t waste time with nitwits, especially ones that are drunk before 10 am.

  15. Twat uses variations of this talking point. It has to be trolling. I can remember the day Swift though he was a fierce troll—now he’s just an old man with weak sauce. I’m sure someday I’ll encounter someone who refers to ideas they don’t like who isn’t an insufferable tool.

    But not today.

  16. I’m sure someday I’ll encounter someone who refers to ideas they don’t like who isn’t an insufferable tool.

I bet you couldn’t explain what you were trying to say with that word salad tomorrow morning. At least until you’ve had a few eye openers.

I could be wrong; it could just as well be you are developing a resistance to the meds, and this is just you being you…but this has all the earmarks of drunken posting.

    Got you going there, didn’t I? 😎

  18. How does Twat go from doing something dumb to doing other dumb things? It’s a real head scratcher, I gotta say.

Hunter Biden was always a corruption problem, not a story to be swept under the rug.

Emery, after writing three comments in ninety minutes trying to sweep the corruption of Hunter Biden under the rug.
Take a not quite empty can of nuts, shake it a few times, and you have duplicated what goes on in Emery’s mind when he sets himself before a keyboard.

  20. The officials, including CNN pundit and professional fabricator James Clapper — a man who was nearly charged for perjury for lying to Congress — signed a letter saying that the laptop “has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
    https://nypost.com/2022/03/18/intelligence-experts-refuse-to-apologize-for-smearing-hunter-biden-story/

For the record, the Hunter Biden laptop did not have the classic earmarks of a “Russian information operation.” We know what those look like because the government spent a shitload of $ investigating “Russian information operations” after the 2016 election. It looks like a facebook page with a gif of Hillary shaking hands with the devil.

  21. It’s not a coincidence that Hunter Biden’s laptop suddenly resurfaces as a talking point just as Biden emerges as an effective international leader on the Ukraine crisis, is it? Next up we’ll hear there’s a caravan coming from the south …

Still amuses me that the Trump campaign genuinely thought Hunter Biden was their big “October Surprise.” I seem to recall Giuliani said he had the laptop in his possession. Why didn’t he reveal the contents of it? Problem is they couldn’t and they still can’t connect it to any misconduct by Joe Biden. And that’s not even getting into the whataboutisms about the Trumps where all roads lead to daddy.

  22. Uh . . . no. Biden is a follower, not a leader. We wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place if Biden hadn’t over ruled his generals and SD people and commenced the world-historical disaster of the US abandonment of Afghanistan.
Here is a video of Biden blathering on about how the Hunter Biden laptop story is just Russian propaganda, confirmed by FIFTY-ONE intelligence professionals.
    https://youtu.be/IjFhaFt0A6M
Lol, ol’ Slow Joe is flat out lying, with the help of the MSNBC commenter.

  23. Instead of Hunter Bidens laptop, we deserve an investigation into why Trump took 15 boxes of “Top Secret” documents to Mar-A-Lago that had to be recovered.

  24. How about both, Emery? It seems pretty likely that Garland is investigating Trump’s document haul, so let’s have a good investigation of how Biden sold the power of his office for the sake of hookers and blow for his son, too. And since a big issue in your mind is wrongly keeping government records, does the name “Hilliary” ring a bell?

I don’t believe we’re quite at the point where Russia is, where there is a politburo of billionaires unwilling to speak up against Putin’s corruption, but we’re close enough that a bunch of strategic jailings of top officials just might be therapeutic.
