Were these individuals on foot with placards temporarily disrupting traffic it’d be one thing. Civil disobedience is a useful tool in getting a message media attention. But these were not protests. These were the tactics of sowing chaos to undermine government and in their minds foment a far-right takeover, not unlike January 6, false electors, and the armed occupation of a state government. All these and more are no mere coincidence, and are not so-called “grassroots” efforts.
Use whatever means are necessary to demonstrate we will never succumb to mob rule. Be swift and decisive. Most importantly, we must root it out at its authoritarian oligarchical source or they will continue to fund these activities.
