I wonder, which President holds the record for “Days Under Martial Law During Peacetime” in Washington, D.C.? What with the inauguration, January 6, and now the upcoming truck parade, I’ve gotta believe Lesko Brandon takes the cake. Any historians in the SITD readership?

I would imagine it would have to be FDR in the 30s. But that is a speculation.

Apparently, Pedo Joe requested that the Florida NG send some troops to guard his iron curtain, but Governor DeSantis told him to pound sand.
It sure would be nice to have a real Governor instead of an insecure, dictatorial puppet.

We have a government that fears its people.
Nothing that happened on Jan 6 justifies turning DC into a military position.
