The headline is bad. It turns out that the “ballot drop boxes,” which had no chain of custody, were only used in the 2020 election, and netted Biden his entire margin of victory in Wisconsin:

All one has to do is look to who the Republicans are lining up to count the votes and think about whose votes they don’t want to count. How close is the US from not actually being able to decide who the next President will be after the 2024 election. The only outcome will be a mess of litigation and a ruined country.

MP, your January 17, 2022 at 9:16 am is applicable in MN as well. The US Constitution Article 1, Section 4, states “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations”. MN SoS Steve Simon rewrote election procedures, allowing mail-in ballots. He is not the MN Legislature.
