Gaslighter? Or Fart-Lighter?

By Mitch Berg

Representative Todd LIppert is leaving the House so he can tour rural Minnesota teaching rural Minnesotans about January 6:

He’ll be joining OJ, still out there looking for the real killer.

Since January 6 was the equivalent of December 7 and September 11, shouldn’t Lippert respond by invading rural areas and killing people there?

  2. Mitch Berg Says:

Progs going to “red” areas seem to see themselves like Jane Goodall-type characters.

    Only Goodall respected apes.

What a load of manure. Todd already lives in a rural district where he can engage his constituents. Who also live in a rural district. Now, maybe he’s confused by the voters in his residence of Northfield, a small city with not only one but two strongly leftist colleges for rich why-people from the Cities. Or maybe, just maybe, he knows he didn’t win by all that much last go around and he can see the writing on the wall.
Or, on the third hand, maybe being a pastor and watching close-up how “sausage is made” in St Paul turned him off to the whole process.

Alex Baldwin promised to help him, but first he has to find the shooter.

Out state Dems know the next election will be ugly. Time to get out now.

This is what it sounds like when a good journalist refuses to let the guy who tried to overthrow the republic spread his lies unchallenged. He runs away.

The NPR—Steve Inskeep interview was the best ever interview of Trump I’ve ever heard. Very professional, well prepared and not intimidated. It’s well worth listening to

“I’m innocent, I’m innocent”. “Let me ask you about that.” Trump HANGS UP! Yup, that seems about right.

Bitter much? Why don’t you email Berg and alert 🚨 him.

    Woolly’s comment introduced January 6.

Bitter? Nah. I am, however, impressed that you don’t make even the minimum amount of effort try to follow the stated rules. Mitch won’t do anything because he’s a nice guy. Too nice to a troll, but it ain’t my blog.

Just curious – do you not think you have a long, unwelcome history of jacking threads on this blog?

I furnished additional information (agree or not agree) that directly relates to January 6. We have a former president who lied to his supporters who then attacked the Capitol, inspired by Trump’s election lies. Lippert’s messaging will no doubt include the above mentioned information in his crusade.

    BTW — nice lede…

Perhaps you’ve mistaken me for a huge Trump fan.

It was more or less on-topic, so I haven’t mutilated the comment yet.

But you gotta admit, you have jacked way more than your share of threads with all the grace of “Dog Gone”.

    You see that, right?

The view from the high road never changes.

But seriously – Lippert, a rep of the party that actively coddled rioters and other people who assault the rule of law – as we discussed last week – thinks he has moral credibility to lecture people on this?

The party that didn’t condemn John Thompson for his piddling on the rules until he lit into a public employee?

The party whose members actively support “Anti”-Fa?

The “lede” – title? – is apt.

  15. Emery Says:

It was meant as a compliment— your ledes showcase your sense of humor.
