And So This Is Christmas

Minneapolis is, as of yesterday, at 93 homicides for 2021 so far.

The record, during the Murderapolis years, was either 95 or 97, depending on your source.

Context? Sure.

In 2016 there were 82 unjustified homicides…

…in the entire state of Minnesota. 30 of them were in Minneapolis.

Whenever the DFL used to win elections by lopsided margins, they’d drunkenly chant “We own this city!”

Yep, chuckleheads. You sure do.

  1. From what I can determine from the meagre information in bland news accounts, Minneapolis murders were mostly bad people doing bad things in bad neighborhoods. Honestly, that’s not surprising and doesn’t bother me much, same as murders in El Salvador or South Africa don’t bother me much, because (a) I don’t go to those places so crimes in those places don’t affect me and (b) there’s nothing I can do about bad people behaving badly in bad places.

For me personally, a better measure of societal decay would be violent crimes such as carjacking, armed robbery, assault, rape, riot, looting (including flash mobs at Best Buy), which occurred in the greater Twin Cities area. The spread of those crimes threatens me. There’s still nothing I can do about the perps, but their actions concern me enough to move farther out from the core cities. Let them prey on victims in Edina and St. Louis Park.

Still waiting for the next Bernhard Goetz or Paul Kersey to arrive and hoping to God it’s not me.

  2. When the police leave, the gangs take over.
If you don’t have police, you will have gangs, and the competition between gangs is violent.

  3. This explains it all:

(Note: this song was written for and sung by actors who were NOT portraying persons of color)

Dear, dear, dear kindly Sergeant Krupke you gotta understand
It’s just our bringin’ up-ke that gets us out of hand
Our mothers all are junkies, our fathers all are drunks
    Golly Moses, naturally we’re punks

Gee, Officer Krupke we’re very upset
We never had the love that every child oughta get
We ain’t no delinquents, we’re misunderstood
Deep down inside us there is good

There is good, there is good
There is good, there is untapped good
Like inside the worst of us is good
Oh, look at that good, good baby
That’s a nice baby actually, yeah

Oh, that’s a touchin’ good story
Oh well, lemme tell it to the world
Just tell it to the judge
Ooh yeah, judge, that’s a good idea, stop

Dear kindly judge, your honor, my parents treat me rough
With all their marijuana they won’t give me a puff
They didn’t wanna have me but somehow I was had
Leapin’ lizards, that’s why I’m so bad

Right, Officer Krupke you’re really a square
This boy don’t need a judge, he needs an analyst’s care
It’s just his neurosis that oughta be curbed
    He’s psychologically disturbed

    I’m disturbed
    We’re disturbed, we’re disturbed
    We’re the most disturbed
    Like we’re psychologically disturbed

Hear ye, hear ye, in the opinion on this court
This child is depraved on account
He ain’t had a normal home
Hey, I’m depraved on account I’m deprived

So take him to a headshrinker
    Oh no, goodbye buddy boy

    My father’s a bastard, my ma’s an S.O.B
My grandpa’s always plastered, my grandma pushes tea
My sister wears a mustache, my brother wears a dress
    Goodness gracious, that’s why I’m a mess

Yes, Officer Krupke you’re really a slob
This boy don’t need a doctor just a good honest job
Society’s played him a terrible trick
    And sociologically he’s sick

    I am sick
We are sick, we are sick
    We are sick, sick, sick,
Like we’re sociologically sick, oh yeah

In my opinion this child don’t need to have his head shrunk at all
Juvenile delinquency is purely a social disease
Hey, I got a social disease
So take him to a social worker

Dear kindly, social worker, they say go earn a buck
Like be a soda jerker which means like be a schmuck
    It’s not I’m antisocial, I’m only anti-work
    Gloryosky, that’s why I’m a jerk

Officer Krupke, you’ve done it again
This boy don’t need a job, he needs a year in the pen
It ain’t just a question of misunderstood
Deep down inside him he’s no good

    I’m no good
We’re no good, we’re no good
    We’re no earthly good
Like the best of us is no damn good

The trouble is he’s crazy, the trouble is he drinks
The trouble is he’s lazy, the trouble is he stinks
The trouble is he’s growing, the trouble is he’s grown
Krupke, we got troubles of our own

Gee, Officer Krupke we’re down on our knees
‘Cause no one wants a fellow with a social disease
Gee, Officer Krupke what are we to do?
    Gee, Officer Krupke, Krup you

  4. just a price to pay to live in a big, vibrant, woke, multicultural, frozen city. Just ask Seth, he agrees! Move along sheople, get with new normal™, git!

  5. Hah. Twin Cities got nuthin on Groot and her war zone called Chicago. NOW she wants help. She arrogantly refused help from Trump; I wonder if people could sue over deaths she could have prevented. Gonna be a hoot to watch her run for reelection.
Ya gets whats ya votes fer, people.

  6. kinlaw.
Exactly! The DemoCommie governors and mayors all had the same goal: let people suffer, die, develop long term health problems, starve, freeze, make them stay home, no church services and mask up, all to prevent Trump from getting re-elected. But, now since mandates are getting crushed in the courts, his Build Back Broke plan is dead and people are telling him to pound sand instead of getting jabbed Biden is setting up another scam. He and the Dems, blame Trump for everything bad, but he just gave Trump credit for the vaccine. Mark my words. Within a month, two at the most, Biden will admit that they acted too quickly to stab everyone and that new variants look to be less dangerous. He will take credit for beating WuFlu and despite the fact that more people have died from it under his reign, he’ll state that they are now seeing side effects from the jabs AND BLAME TRUMP. These people are sick!

  7. Do you guys REALLY think Groot and Waltz are NOT going to be re-elected? Wanna buy a piece of oceanside property in Utah? You are just gullible enough to do it! Just look what happened with Gruesome recall! About the only hag that may stand a chance of being melted is Whitmer.

  8. jpa, I said it was going to be fun to watch. I am sure she will be re-elected. She will just blame Trump.

  9. Joe, so go out into the field and kneel down next to the pit, go ahead.

I am going to fight, whatever it takes. If they pass the national election fraud law the gloves are off, we are not going to watch that happen again.

But you go submit, get on the boxcar, let them lead you away. Have fun.

  10. Kinlaw vowed “I am going to fight, whatever it takes.”

Oh, really? Are you really “going to”?

“Going to” suggests action will be taken in the future; it’s predictive, and in lots of cases it’s tall talk and no walk.

You live in a prison state, brother. You don’t realize it, because you’re in gen-pop and all your good behavior privileges are intact. Fighting will get you tossed into ad-seg at Vacaville, or Folsom.

The list of available fights a man encounters out there everyday would make a Peevee rant look positively succinct.

You’re “going to fight”, but why aren’t you fighting rn?

Truth is, voting isn’t fighting; it’s capitulation. You’ve decided to continue to play by the rules of the enemy, because real fighting is dangerous and you have too much to lose.

Start your fight by lightening the load you would have to carry into battle, and make contact with other men who are really ready to fight.

  11. pusblood pete, just because you are prison beotch who likes it up the bunghole doesn’t mean I have to go down that path.

  12. It strikes me that conservatives can make this point very clear if they say “now take a look, this is what happened in cities where the police stood down and/or were defunded, and this is what happened in cities where they didn’t. More or less, several thousand people are needlessly dead because liberal politicians bowed to interest groups that didn’t understand that a criminal in jail can’t commit crimes out on the streets.”

    “Vote accordingly.”

Regarding the question of vote fraud, no doubt it’s an issue, and it’s appalling that the left’s attitude is “well, we’re not looking for it, therefore we’re not finding it, therefore there really isn’t a problem.” The flip side is that if people are awakened to the consequences of their votes, previously close races are going to get wider in favor of the conservative/moderate candidates, and it’s going to get harder and harder to cheat enough to win. The left may have figured out how to jimmy a 1% election, but that doesn’t suffice when we’re talking about a 5% margin.
